New Blank Journal Swap (USA)

Do you love to journal? Love to collect blank journals to fill when the mood strikes? I do and if you do too, then this is the swap for you!

For this swap you’ll have 1 partner with whom you’ll exhange a blank journal. Journals can be purchased or nicely handmade. They can be lined or blank pages. Total cost for the journal should be $5-$10 before postage however I’ve seen some very nice (and expensive) journals sale at various bookstores and gift stores of late. Size of the journal is up to you but keep in mind packaging and postage costs (don’t forget that new postal rates in the U.S. went into effect April 17th).

Instead of writing something on one of the pages of the journal you’re sending, write a short note to your partner telling them a little about yourself. Notes can be 1 or 2 pages, text or art journaled, or both! Include this note unattached, inside the cover of the journal you’re sending. This way your partner can adhere the letter inside their journal if they like. Be sure to include the name of the swap in your note or a separate sheet of paper!

You must have a 4.8 rating or higher. Newbies are welcome with a completed profile in at least 3 categories and at least 3 swaps (any kind) under their belt (I know how difficult it can be to get started swapping). I will however review all participants and reserve the right to email and eliminate anyone who doesn’t fit the profile. Flakers are not encouraged to sign up so please, if you know you have a history of flaking or question whether you can see this swap through, please consider not signing up. I can’t angel this swap as much as I might like to but am hoping we have a good turn out for it!
