Lady Bug Dotee

I will do my best to be the best host I can be!

For this swap, you will be making one dotee for one partner. The theme is lady bugs. I want to give you guys as much creative freedom as possible, so, anything to do with lady bugs is acceptable, as long as your dotee has all of the following:

-a face

-length of 3-5 inches

-a tail (one or more)

-a hook or hanging loop

-body made of some type of fabric or yarn

-relation to the ladybug theme

Some examples would be:

a dotee shaped like a lady bug

using colors related to lady bugs (red, black, and white)

adding lady bug shaped embellishments such as buttons

Be creative, and make your dotee unique and with a personality of it's own.

Please make your dotee special and with care. Your dotee should be hard to part with and happily received. Don't try too hard to make it look like the other dotees you have seen before. Give it your own special something.

Rating: You should give a 5 if you get a dotee and it complies with all of the things on the first list, a 3 if you get a dotee and wondered what they were thinking because it didn't comply with the criteria at all, and a 1 if you did not receive anything not even a response from your partner after contacting them. And please rate promptly. I always rate as soon as I get my swaps so that I don't forget, and I wonder if others are doing the same for me.

Requirements:

Because this is a type 3 swap, I am only allowing people with a 5.00 rating and it will be local. Unrated swappers allowed, but I will be checking profiles and will be contacting you to make sure you are serious about this (especially if you don't have any completed swaps.)

If you don't receive anything and have contacted your partner and they did not respond, let me know and I will angel. You can also contact me if you have any questions about rating (how to rate or how you were rated).

If possible, please take pictures of your dotee and send them to me, I want to make an archive of these swaps, as I am planning on hosting more swaps relating to dotees with bug/garden related themes. Plus, I am very interested in everyone else's interpretation of the theme.

One final question:

If you are in the U.S. Or Canada, would you be less inclined to join this swap if it were international? If you live elsewhere, do you wish for this swap to be international?
