Soph 3Q11 Send Your Handmade Specialty - US Only -

Edited: I am switching this series of swaps to making them US only due to weight. I am also removing paper (2 exceptions) as an acceptable medium for this series of swaps, since it's now US only!

You will have 1 partner and send them one sample of your delightful handmade craft - something you have made with care and joy and pride!

Items should be handmade by you and show off your crafting skills! This is an item that you would be able to sell as a high end hand crafted item at Etsy, Artsfire, at a local boutique or craft fair - not something that is primarily commercially made.

If you are a beader, 1 item might equal two pairs of earrings or book thongs, or a beaded bracelet. If you are a quilter, stitcher, yarn person, you might send a pair of mittens, a pair of dotees, a quilted potholder, a sewn small bag, an amigurumi. Make soap - a bar would be perfect! A pair of bottlecap or scrabble tile pendants or magnets are also nice. Polymer clay items, duct tape wallets or pens are also fun!

Paper/journals/notecards/atcs are no longer acceptable items. The only paper based items that will be acceptable are handmade chunky books or filled 250 ct matchboxes.
This is a fun swap to show off something(s) you have made with pride and effort - no sticker slapping!

Approximate value = $5US or 5EU at a craft fair! Err on the generous side, allowing for postage and customs.
