Makeup & Accessory Basics Swap ~ International

Heya!!! My makeup colours ARE SOOOO different to my fashion colours!! I dont want to sound picky but if i say just 3 colours (Black pink nude, they could send me black lipstick and pink eyeshadow then nude blusher! Which I dont like TT^TT)

Cosmetic bag in any colour!! As for makeup:
Lips: Nudes! Baby Pinks, VERY light nudes!
Eyes: Browns, nudes, Bronze, Black, Olive, Gold
Blush: Baby Pinks, Very Light peaches
Mascara: Black
Eyeliner: Black (Liquid pens)
Nails: Any colour ^^
Lotion: Please do not send me this unless it is made for sensitive skin! You can send me something else! I dont use these because i have such sensitive skin my skin reacts to normal products TT^TT
Headwear: Anything pretty! Check profile for fashion likes!!
Earrings: Any colour!
Scarf: Black or nude!
Necklace any colour! Check profile for fashion likes!!

Btw I LOVE this swap idea!! I was thinking or not whether to join, because I have joined a lot of makeup swaps before, and nearly everyone sent used items, or items that have been tested, items that do not match me at all, freebies, broken items, cheap $1 items that are really bad quality! When Im sending out brand items! From drugstores in the UK, So Im glad for this swap you atleast know what youre getting! Great swap!!!! x

love this swap too, i am watching this swap at the mo,, @ichigoshortcake - it is hard one that people send items that have been used, or brokem, or been tested. but sometimes even the items your partner sends which are new and unused are still not to your choice, and you do not like them.. I mean it just depends where you live, like i live in Switzerland so my items are expensive here , even in normal drug stores items are expensive, whereas in UK they are not so expensive, so depends on the partner too

• A lipstick, lipstain, lipgloss, or other similar product {I would really prefer to have a lipstick as I do not wear gloss or stain. I prefer bright/light/shimmery pinks, it's all I wear)
• An eye shadow (gray, browns, olives or forest greens)
• A blush or rouge (very very light pinks or peachy pinks)
• A water proof mascara (black only please)
• An eyeliner (black only please, I would prefer liquid but a good non smudge stick is good as well)

My preferences: Cosmetics bag, eye shadow, blush or rouge, nail polish, scarf - any color you will like! Lipstick, lipstain, lipgloss, etc - either light colors (pinks etc) or classic hot RED Mascara and eyeliner - either black or crazy colors (no brown, gray or clear). I prefer liquid eyeliner. False eyelashes - black. Earrings, necklace and braelets - must be either NICKEL FREE, I am allergic to nickel.

2 more things: (1) I am very pale, with dark eyes and hair, in case it would help you choose colors. (2) I really love face illuminators such as this.or this. These are just examples, there are cheaper ones, from various brands. If my swap partner would like to send me a face illuminator I would be really grateful. I prefer pink or nude (no bronze color).

Ok my preferences are ..

A lipstick, - pink, red, beige, An eye shadow - pinks A blush (cheek color) - prefer blush A water proof mascara - black An eyeliner - a stick please and brown prefer a nail kit but nail polish is ok too but not bright Set of false eyelashes Nail care kit (nail file, tweezers, nail clipper, etc..) Makeup brush kit Small (travel sized is ok) bottle of body moisturizer (lotion) - any is fine, but try to get one without alcohol. A pretty fashion scarf - any colour is fine with me, Head wear or hair accessory of some kind (must not be plain or childish) Some dangling earrings at least 1 inch in length - no silver ones as I am allergic to silver. A necklace - no silver again A bracelet or set of bracelets - no silver again (handbag, wallet, hat, watch, ring, earring studs -- a set of at least 3, etc - if you get me studs no silver please.. .. I would prefer a wallet if possible.

This is why I specifically say they must be full sized brand new items. Travel size is ok for some things. I have gotten used, broken, and sample sized things before also when I've sent out travel or full sized stuff. It's ok to be picky, so you get what you want. But don't be too picky and give your partner some options so that it is easier for them and still a bit of a surprise for you. I feel the surprise aspect of swaps is one of the fun things about doing them. You never know what is in that bow and when you join many swaps, like I do, you never know which swap it is. It's alot of fun!

@AngelikFiona I agree with you completely that people should not be too picky.. But there again, if they are not too picky then people do not know what you like....

i love getting new make ups and accessories and i always like buying make ups even though i know it'll end up in my friend's stash instead. This would be a great reason for me to buy make ups instead. But being a newbie i don't know whether you'll accept me or not -.-
