Description:

This might not be a new technique for you, but I've just used it recently and I think it's great!

For your ATC to one partner, use the masking technique to implement 3 stamps onto an ATC - theme is your own. Only stamps will be allowed on this ATC! You can embellish with inks, chalk or paint, to enhance the stamp image, no collage. You can put a saying or words on it.

Google "rubber stamping, masking technique" to learn the method.

I use transparencies to make my mask - to dry the ink faster use embossing powder and your heat gun. The transparency won't melt, but use descretion. Transparencies will last a lot longer than paper, but paper will work, too.

Best work, as usual. Check out my Flickr page to see what I did using this technique.

I just joined and thought, it might be nice to also send stamped images of what we used so we can all truly see what was masked....just a thought.

The masking shouldn't cover the stamp completely - but it's definitely a nice idea, then your partner will get two or three stamped images, as well as an awesome ATC.
