Description:

In this swap you will write a letter telling your partner about your summer reading habits. Do read more or less? Do you have any special books you plan on reading? Where do you go for summer reading recommendations? What is a "beach read" in your opinion?
Do you read on the beach? Will you be using an ereader this summer? Why or why not? Pretty much use this opportunity to talk about books in any way, shape or form!

I hope that all of you who are interested in this swap will consider joining my new group, Bibliophiles Forever Since I am using this swap to promote my group, I will keep the requirements the same as they are to join the group:
We want a safe group here so we have a strict policy to keep it that way. Books are very valuable to us and can be expensive to mail. To become a member you must be ACTIVE on SB for a minimum of 3 months. No 1s or 3s unless they are from a long time ago and you have made all possible attempts to correct them. Anything deemed to be suspicious behavior by founders or officers or highly esteemed members will get you booted. Thank you very much.

I will be hosting a follow up at the end of the summer to talk about what you did read this summer.

would join this but since international postage cost so much anymore and there is a language barrier I dont think so ..

Dang! I haven't been a member long enough.

Just to note that a letter is only 98c from the USA to an overseas address, also I think it would make sense that if you sign up, you should be able to read and write in English, I have participated in many International pc/letter swaps and this has never been an issue.

I agree on the language issue. The website is in English, so I think it is safe to assume that participants speak and understand enough English.

This was mailed out a few days ago as I headed out of town. Enjoy!
