Description:
Zentangled Alphabet - "A". The Alphabet series begins anew. Zentangle an upper case A. On ATC sized, 2.5 inch x3.5 inch card stock or similar paper. You will have 1 swap partner for one Zentangled A ATC. Adding a color or using a colored paper or color washed background is optional. The usual Swap-bot rules apply. Newbie are welcome as long as they follow the swap requirements. Flaking will not be tolerated and you must be in good standing. Any problems contact your swap partner and me. If you flake on a letter, I will angel the letter for you BUT... you will be banned from further letters. Happy Zentangling! Newbie friendly! I will be having 'Letter Make-Up swaps' from time to time, too, if you miss a letter and want to get caught up!

I've done lots of zentangles, but want to be sure to get this right. Does the letter have to be zentangled? Or can it be on a zentangled background, or either way? Thanks

What size should the letters be? Do they have to be big?

This is actually my second go-round with the Zentangled Alphabet and I have received all sorts of letters in regards to the size of the letter. (The ATC itself should be the standard 3.5 x 2.5 inches.) I always try to make the letter stand out somehow - coloring it in, outlining it, etc.. Some of the ones I have received have the letter solid and the background zentangled. Some of them have the letter zentangled and the background plain. Some have everything zentangled! I will include a pic of some of mine from the older swaps - you needn't make yours like them if you are otherwise inspired.

I am hoping to get some new zentangle-converts - so Newbies are welcome. If you are looking for something from someone more experienced in zentangling I suggest you check out one of the zentangle groups.
