There are many times of cancer out there. In this swap we will be making 1 ATC for each of your partners. Please include a note explaining why you choose that form of cancer.

Here is a quick list of Ribbon colors and the cancers they represent. If you know of a ribbon or cancer not on the list feel free to use it.

ORANGE-leukemia and kidney cancer YELLOW-bladder and liver cancer BLUE-colon cancer PURPLE-pancreatic and thyroid cancer (general cancer survivor) WHITE-bone cancer BROWN-colorectal cancer GRAY-brain cancer TEAL-ovarian, cervical, uterine cancer (all gynecological cancers) PERIWINKLE-esophageal and stomach cancer PINK-breast cancer HOT PINK-inflammatory breast cancer AMBER-appendix cancer PEACH-uterine, endometrial cancer LIGHT BLUE-prostate cancer LAVENDER-general cancer awareness ORCHID-testicular cancer PEARL-lung cancer GOLD-pediatric cancer BABY PINK & BLUE-male breast cancer PURPLE & RED-desmoplastic cancer TEAL & WHITE-cervical cancer BLUE & SILVER-living with or coping with cancer

Umm, how does HIV/AIDS get listed with cancer? Or is this a ribbon awareness ATC rather than specifically cancer?

i was wondering that too thebragal

I will edit. Sorry about the confusion. Its just cancer awareness

While ATCs are flat, the Type 2 swap is meant for non-crafted items mainly. Like postcards and letters, flat stickers etc. Type 3 is for crafts so this should be a type 3. I can reference an old post of Rachael's from the forums if need be. A while ago, many coordinators were listing ATCs as type 2 but the consensus, and Rachael's determination is that they are type 3. Don't mean to beat you over the head with it if that's how it sounded, just met with lots of resistance in the past when I've posted notes like this. Tha ks in advance for changing it and also for clarifying the red ribbon! You are starting out well as a coordinator!!

Thanks for letting me know about the Type error. A lot of the ATC swaps I looked at for reference said type 2. I will change it though. I want this to be a good swap for everyone.

type 2 could be a very flat atc . like one with just a drawing on it.
