Description:

This Swap is always a hit and this will be my 3rd year hosting it. So, although it's early, I wanted to start it up soon, so we can be thinking and looking for those fab gifts early.

This is International....but, think of it as an awesome Yule gift for your CW sister or brother!

This is a Senders Choice, but make sure to check Partner's Profile for allergies/likes/dislikes. Sending something from their "DO NOT SEND" list can get you a 3

You will send your 1 partner a standard (10oz/295ml approx.) COFFEE MUG (thrift store find, handmade, plastic will cut down on the postage!) filled/stuffed to overflowing. Fill the mug with whatever makes you smile, trying to limit your TOTAL cost to about $12US, mug included!

Fill/stuff the mug with all sorts of Winter Soltice-y Goodness. (What would make you smile one day in December?)

Please ensure the mug is food safe (microwave safe is nice, but not essential) and that you wrap the finished filled mug in pretty plastic wrap/shrink wrap. Mail it in bubble wrap to keep the handle safe.

Filling Ideas: tiny, wrapped "package(s)" complete with a bow, holiday notecards, a bit-o'bubble bath (drop-in ball, fizzy tablet, or small packet), a tiny "cup coaster" for the mug to sit on, handmade 'fridge magnet, hot soup packet, pkg of hot cocoa mix, some peppermint drops, an individual coffee or tea packet (check their profile!), a holiday or adorable swizzle stick, a candy-dipper spoon (dipped in chocolate or other confection to melt when stirred), Solstice greetings, "snow" confetti, etc. etc. etc.

New Member Rules apply

Plenty of time to plan and package....barring emergencies, there will be no excuse for late sends.

Does it have to be wrapped in plastic wrap? What about tissue paper or something more eco-friendly?

It can....as long as the cup is protected. I reuse my bubble wrap over and over. =D I also use the recycled type.

this is my second year I've participated in this swap, and I absolutely loved it last year! Thank you hosting it again, @oreon ...this is one I look forward to =)

Wickett, thanks! I love this swap, too!

Oreon, I have half a cup full. I thought the send date was later and have been on the lookout for the perfect items... I will get the full cup in the mail in 2 days. I have my eye on an item that is in another town...gotta carve out the time to get over there.
