If for some reason you have not received something I've sent, let me know & I'll resend. I mark swaps "sent" when I put them out at my house. Mail sometimes goes from our city to a bigger city before it's postmarked- so it may not receive a postmark until a few days after I've mailed it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I spend time making my swaps look nice and make sure they are things I'd like to receive. If you do the same, you'll receive a heart from me.

🙋🏼‍♀️ HI! I'm 49, married, have two teenaged kids plus a bunch of their friends that we've "adopted". I work full-time and love coming home to my family and happy mail.

🐕 PETS: Cats, dog, fish- we've had them all. (We just lost our beloved Golden Retriever in August 2023.) Currently we only have a 55 gallon aquarium.

❤ I try hard to live my life by 1 Corinthians16:14: "Let all that you do be done in love." I'm not a preachy person but I pray that my actions reflect my faith. I also love to learn about other faiths and beliefs.

📜 My biggest hobby is genealogy- I love to spend hours researching my family history.

📚 I'm also a big reader. My favorites are mysteries and historical fiction.

✂️ Over the years I've done many paper crafts- stamping, card making, scrapbooking, all of that. I still have a great appreciation for those things, but I don't have much time to do them myself anymore.

I prefer my postcards naked (written on, stamped & mailed) unless it's a specific swap for blank postcards to build up some variety in my stash. 🖊Getting a personal note about the swap, what is like where you live, what you're doing that day, or maybe why you chose that postcard just makes the postcard perfect.

💜These are some of my favorite postcards:

• state postcards- I'm currently trying to collect one from all 50 states! I'll post an updated list of what I have soon.
• owl postcards 🦉 *photos of spiritual/ inspirational places, such as churches, cemeteries, temples, mountains, etc.
• vintage or modern Christian postcards
• recipes
• British Royal family
• animals- my favorites are owls, but I also like raccoons, cats, or wildlife
• woods/ forests/ log cabins
• Peanuts (the cartoon characters)

🎃 FOR HALLOWEEN SWAPS: I love all things fall, pumpkins, cats, monsters, cute costumes, etc. I don't care for stuff focused on witches or devils (ok if there's a hat or costume in the background) or bloody images.

• free sample/ current advertising postcards
• pin-up girls
• anime or Kawaii
• used postcards written to someone else
• homemade cards unless that's the swap requirement

*COLORS: I love turquoise and purple, and fall colors: dark red, hunter green, burnt orange

*OWLS: I collect them- postcards, figures, etc.

*CHARACTERS: Peanuts, Tom & Jerry

*FLOWERS: Sunflowers, any kind of Lily, Mums

*ANTIQUES: I can spend hours in antique stores! I have a growing collection of vintage mason jars and glassware in clear and turquoise. My family says I like "beat up old stuff"! 😆

*FAITH: I'm Catholic, but I really enjoy learning about other faiths & customs. I'm happy to answer your questions or clear up misconceptions about the Catholic Church. (Yes, /we're Christians, no, we don't worship Mary.)

.... and on that note, I LOVE old Saints' cards, prayer cards, etc. You know, those little baseball card sized pictures of saints or fancy paper cutouts with prayers on them? Yes, those things! You'll often find them tucked into old Bibles.

*Paper ephemera... I don't use it, so please save for someone who will. * Nothing scented * No FB's/Slam Books * Nothing to do with horoscopes * No fairies, tarot, bloody, or gothic stuff * No Kawaii, Anime, or Emoji themed items

My family loves Mexican food, spicy foods, hot wings, etc. We are focusing more on high protein meals due to the dietary needs of a family member. We use our air fryer often.

🚫 We do not eat any seafood at home, including fish, due to an allergy of a family member.
