My name is Antonina. I'm Russian native who settled in Canada along with my family. I'm a craft teacher, who addict to all craft sorts since my childhood. I was born in Russia, grown up in Ukraine, then lived for 8 years in Israel, now we settled in Canada. I like all countries where I used to live, I absorbed the culture and traditions of each country I live at, and this knowledge just made my life richer and more interesting. I like animals, we always keep cats, now we have one sweet female cat Alisa.

I like historical novels, some psychological and philosophical books, fantasy and fairy-tales

I'm a big fun of fairy tales of all kinds. I like Russian fairy tales as I'm Russian native and it's still my background and part of my life since I was a child. But I also like Andersen and Grimm fairy tales - original and cartoon/movie versions by different countries. I'm a big fan of Czech and German fairy tales films and Polish cartoons. I'm also a big fan of Japanese Anime cartoons especially based on Andersen fairy tales. I was very impressed by Oriental fairy tales since I once found them, they're different and very special, so I like them too. My always favorite fairy tales book was and still is the Big book of fairy tales from around the wold.

Favorite fairy tales: Russian fairy tales Snow maiden (Снегурочка) , Beautiful Vasilisa (Василиса Прекрасная) , Princess Frog (Царевна лягушка) , Ivan Tsarevitch and the Grey Wolf (Иван Царевич и Серый волк)

Also there are my always favorite: Little Mermaid, Little red riding hood, Snow white, Steadfast Tin Soldier, Rapunzel, Cinderella

I like good sci-fi, French comedies, Russian films (I'm Russian native), some children fairy-tales and fantasy films.

I'm a craft teacher, who turned into a teacher because of craft addiction since very young age. I like cross stitching, embroidery, crocheting, knitting, toys and dolls making, macrame (especially micro macrame), beadwork (mostly 3D objects including eggs beading), tatting, wood painting (mostly Russian and Ukrainian styles), felt work (my last addiction, rock painting and more. I crochet mini and micro animals for some years. I'm also a cross stitch designer for 7 years. Lot of people around the world embroider after my patterns. I addict to all mini and micro stuff as well. Recently I also began to make more cross stitched and then stuffed dolls, originally from my own patterns. I'm also a big fan of biscornu (have small collection especially after attending the Basket of biscornu year round project last year) and Amigurumi toys.

I like all colors when the combination is nice and well-balanced.

My collection of mini china dolls is very small as I found myself addicted to them recently.

I also like different mini objects, which I collect for using them for my photos I make from my mini critters.

I also have a small collection of Russian Matrioshka (or Babushka as sometimes people call them), I have some traditional wooden ones, as like a few embroidered and turned into real stuffy dolls.

Fridge magnet collection in my new collection. I began to collect fridge magnets after I found that some of them could be in shape of figurines who dressed into folklore outfits. So my collection is includes only such figurines in national folklore dresses from different countries. It's really a lovely collection!

I like especially small toys, dolls and other hand made items, stuffies, decorative stuff. But will be love any size and kind hand made work. Just what do you like to get yourself. I'm also a big fan of fairy-tales and fairy-tales personages.

I don't like creepy dolls, monsters, - no scary items for me, please!

For fridge magnet swap - I'll be happy to get figurines in folklore dresses of your country OR any nice magnets - ceramic, rubber, metal (NOT FLAT PHOTO PRINTED magnets, please!!!) with country name written on the magnet.

Postcards swap - I like touristic sort view cards, especially snow views and beautiful nature and landscapes. Much welcome painted Easter Eggs cards, cats and kittens, folklore costume cards, Christmas and New Year photo collages, photos of world Royalty family members.
