Hi there! My name's Meg, and I'm a 23-year-old currently living in southern California. I grew up in southern New Mexico in a military family, and I'm a great big nerd who likes history, cartoons, dogs, astronomy, and puns.

I'm currently out of school but working on going back for history and animation. My history focuses include WWII, the Cold War, and all manner of Jewish and Israeli history and culture (though I'm not Jewish or even religious at all myself, it's a big area of interest for me)!

My hobbies include drawing, costuming, cross-stitch, crochet, roleplay, and Minecraft. :)

I love anything homemade! If you want to send a homemade something, go nuts.

My music tastes are pretty varied. I especially like 80's music and industrial, but I'll listen to most things. Here's a list of some of my favorite artists:

I love crafts! Anything crafty someone might want to send is fine by me. :) As for me, I like to draw, do origami, sew, cross-stitch, and crochet.

And lots of other things! Unless I've specifically said that I don't like it, I'm sure I'll be happy to get it. :D

I'm not super picky, but things I don't really like include:

*Religious/faith based 'inspirational' stuff. I don't mind crosses as part of a bigger theme (example: a cross on a postcard for a gothic themed swap) or religious things in a historical or cultural context, but I'd really rather not get anything meant for someone who is an especially religious person, as I'm not.

*Leopard/zebra/tiger/whatever animal print. Not a big fan.

*Stuff that says like... Babe or Hot Stuff or Princess or whatever, unless it's part of a fabulously dumb joke, in which case please do. I love dumb jokes.

*Poo. I'd be super sad if you send me poo.
