I had a personal family event/emergency this past weekend that has put some things in perspective for me. It also has, and will for some time to come, have me on an emotional roller coaster. Because of this I will have to take time out from swapping. I may be late getting swaps out, but they will get out. Once I have met current obligations I will take a break for awhile. Yes, I will honor my RR obligation. (The crisis involves others and I cannot, because of others involved, describe events that took place this weekend involving my family.)

I am a knitting addict. I live to knit and knit to live. I have 3 sons, 2 are grown and away from home. The youngest son is 17.

I have one grand daughter, who is the sweetest girl on earth! She is 3, and I do not get to see her or spend nearly enough time with her to suit me!

I have become addicted to making and trading ATC's here on Swap-Bot. Besides that I am slowly, but surely, getting more and more into paper crafts of various kinds.

I like Adult Alternative, Country n Western, Blue Grass, Funk, Jazz, just about everything EXCEPT gansta rap which I cannot stand!

I like a variety of books. My favorite type is Epic Fantasy and Sci-Fi Epic Fantasy. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Terry Brooks, Jane Austin, and Debbie MacComber

I have a new favorite movie, but I won't go in to why it's my favorite. My new favorite movie is, "Ratatoile". My other favorites are, "Mary Popins"; the "Matrix" trilogy; and others I can't think of at the moment.

Oh I have lots of shows that I like. "Torchwood"; "Dr. Who"; "Pushing Daisies"; "Kitchen Nightmares", both the American and British versions; "Hell's Kitchen";"Iron Chef America"; "The Graham Norton Show"; "Emeril Live"; "Bargain Hunter"; and many many others.

I am starting an altered book for a swap, continuing my atc's, about to start a lace shawl KAL, and continuing to knit socks.
