Hey everyone. Just want to let those of you know I am back in town after the latest and hopefully last emergency trip. I was in a place with dialup and thought it was just my aunt's connection that would not let me connect to swap-bot. Then I found out swap-bot had some major issues.

My cousin is in re-hab and she and the baby are doing ok at the moment. She 6 months along. Hopefully this is a wakeup call for her to change her life.

I and the other 3 children arrived at my home last night. OMG....I'm playing psuedo-mommy! I'm not sure who's more frightened, me or the kids. But I think with the support of folks around me, we can make it through the summer.

My swaps are in a mess...I'm not sure who has still not received what. Everything should have been mailed out, but again I've had to rely on others and I'm not sure they think getting these packages out for me has been a priority.

If you are missing a package from me, please PM me. I will be taking a few more days off work trying to get the kids settled in daycare and summercamp. I will be going through my list and contacting everyone that hasn't rate me to see if my packaged arrived or not.

I'll also be going through my packages to rate you all....at least they got picked up from the PO like I asked.

Currently my love is polymer clay, however I also paint with acrylics, oils and watercolors. I also am a faux finisher. I love taking an old piece and giving it new life.

I am coffee lover and will drink a cup just before bed and drift right off to sleep...weird huh.

I love all music but listen to a lot of smooth jazz and R&B. However I loooove 70's disco and funk music. Put on a Parilment song and watch me hit the floor grooving.

I tend to watch a lot of nature and science programs. I also "how did they do that" type show. My current fave is "How It's Made". Dirty Jobs (I've got a crush on Mike Rowe), the Planet Earth series, CSI...any of them, Numb3rs, My Name Is Earl, Without A Trace, House.

Edited 10/15/07. Ok, I'm getting the hang of the swap thing now and realize I need to throw in a list of likes. (Sorry to those of you that got my name before. I really didn't have enough info listed)

-Shoes, shoes, shoes. Shoes I can wear {Whispers, size 8) Anything with shoes on it...I also collect miniature shoes. My favorite collection is "Just the Right Shoe" by Raine. And boots...I love them too.

-Colors: in any form or fashion, bright colors, muted colors, contrasting colors, totally funky color combinations...it doesn't matter. But if I must pick a favorite, it is burnt orange.

-Color combinations: pink & brown or Burnt orange & brown,

-textures: I love to run my hand across different types of textures

-Autumn: I love everything about about autumn, the colors, the temperature, the smells.

-Christmas: I am Christmas decoration obsessed. I start working on my decorations for the next year even before the this year's season has started.

-Gummies: Ummmmm: love the sweet or chewy texture.

-Afro: I love anything with an afro picture on it.

-Polymer Clay and polymer clay related tools. The tools can be store purchased or even better, hand made. I love making mokume gane with PC an experiment with putting different inclusion into the slabs.

-Earth scents. I like scents like musk, patchouli, spices.

-Coffee and tea

-Margaritas....I realize you can't send me a margarita in the mail. LOL! But I love to try new recipes.

-Glitter

-Oh did I mention Shoes!

-I have recently learned I like matchbox swaps...I like them a whole lot!

-I like embossing powders too.

-And ribbon...especially Christmas ribbon.

-Don't forget I like shoes too....the higher the heel the better.

Kawaii stuff....I'm not into the cute type stuff...but something in me kinda likes this...I think...still trying to make up my mind. If it is sent to me, I'll probably give it to one of my God-daughters...they love it, so feel free to send it, it will go to good use.

Definite modern and contemporary. I like some antiques...scattered here and there...just not a whole room full of them. Not that into country decor, but everytime Frank on "Trading Spaces" does one of his country inspired rooms....I love it.
