Hi there!...here are some random facts about me:

42 years old TEXAN!! Nurse Book lover Crafter Positive, happy, hopeful!!

I love christian music, 80s and 90s classic rock like u2, phil collins, genesis, new wave anything...I'm not so much into contemporary country music or gangsta rap but i do love classics like George strait, garth brooks, beastie boys and public enemy, run dmc...i know i just totally contradicted myself! Duh...aside from that i love love love american standard and jazz like doris day, nat king cole, ella Fitzgerald and diana krall, Michael buble...be nice now!!! Don't hate! Haha!

I absolutely love to read and i love agatha christie, sherlock holmes (the acd books, though i do love the new bbc series..) .i try to read the Bible every day because i love it...nuff said...some of my favorite books are James Patterson books, the anne of avonlea series, the good earth, ( i sound like a school girl now!), Dracula just because it is beautifully written and Edith warton, e.m. forster...ok all of that sounds and looks sooo random...bottom line....i love to read!

I am a sci fi nut and love star wars, star trek and big action blockbusters...i am so not into romantic comedies, chick flicks (unless they are like bridesmaids or baby mama), or depressing dramas about stressful stuff...life is hard enough...when i watch a movie I want to escape or laugh...

Big bang theory, doctor who, once upon a time, and ....wait for it and don't run for the hills...anything on bravo like the real housewives franchises,,, i know i know....my husband calls it garbage tv but again...my life and friends are not like that...i lead a very simple and quiet life...so again these glamorous women and their drama are pretty much like sci fi fantasy to me!

Ok i am new to the crafting world but i love making homemade greeting cards and am just now dipping my toe into the world of pocket letters...these are like pen pal mail. ..on steroids..so i am excited to try..i also dabble and when i say that mean i am a total newbie, in acrylics and watercolors...

I generally am a very positive happy hardworking person who is filled with gratitude each day...so please know that anything i get will be with received with tons of excitement and will be cherished for the time and effort that goes into it...thanks!

Oh and btw...for the tea swap group...i love tea and only drink tea...never coffee (I gave up coffee about 5 years ago). I usually drink hot English breakfast and chai during the cooler months and during the summer and hotter months...which is every month here in Texas!...i like to make herbal iced tea concoctions with mint from my plant outside...i would love to try different kinds of tea so bring them on!!!
