I'm married and have one child, a 16 year old boy, who is a childhood cancer survivor (currently 3-years cancer free). I work as a social worker and am desperately looking forward to retirement, even though it is still many years away. Fibromyalgia and depression make everyday a battle to endure. I find joy in reading, geocaching, shopping, traveling, and crafting.

I like to make bracelets, keychains and purse charms with beads.
I like to colour, draw Zentangles and journal. I like to make things out of other things, I.e. upcycling or repurposing. I like all different kinds of paper crafts, but favourites are making ATCs, altered index cards, rolos, and homemade postcards. I enjoy creating pocket letters, flipbooks, envelope letters and happy mail packets.

I like alternative music. My long term favourite bands are The Cure, The Smiths, and 10,000 Maniacs. I also like Grateful Dead and Paul Simon, when I'm feeling mellow. Currently I find myself listening to Pvris, Paramore, Florence & the Machine, Lady Gaga, etc.

American Horror Story (Murder House, Coven & Cult are my favourite seasons), Bates Motel, Good Girls, Dead to Me, Dr. Who (11th doctor-Matt Smith is my favourite), Stranger Things

My favourite colors are green, purple and blue.

I love stickers of all kinds, but especially cute ones. I like Hello Kitty, washi tape, memo paper, postcards, pretty stationery, origami paper, scrapbook paper, die cuts, metal charms, foreign coins, tourist magnets, Lisa Frank stationery, sanrio paper, music paper, book pages, etc.

I collect Blythe dolls, clothes & accessories. These are the big headed fashion dolls, whose eyes change by pulling a string on the back of their head.

I also collect American Girl dolls, clothes & accessories. These are 18 inch dolls that look like school age kids.

I like cats, llamas/alpacas, owls, and just about any cute animal.

I like things that are useful and have a practical purpose.

I like to be outside where it is a different kind of quiet. I love geocaching, which uses GPS to locate items (caches) in the woods or sometimes in urban area. I use my smaller handmade items as geocache trade items.

I love trading postcards and do alot of postcard swaps. My favourite postcards are art cards, pop culture, interesting places, an unusual picture, scenic view, animals, lighthouses, etc.

Some people who inspire me are: *Jenny Lawson AKA the bloggess; she wrote "Furiously Happy", an awesome book with an adorable taxidermy raccoon named Rory on the cover. Jenny talks about her struggles with depression on her blog and her books; her ability to remain a chronic badass inspires me.

*Tiffany Jenkins; is an addict who keeps it real as she struggles with anxiety, addiction and motherhood in her YouTube channel "Juggling the Jenkins". She also wrote a book about her journey called "High Achiever". She is hilarious and down to earth. She inspires to keep moving forward.

I like word search puzzles, sudoku, and jigsaw puzzles. I also enjoy the occasional hidden picture puzzle and find the difference between these two pictures puzzles.

My least favourite puzzles are crosswords because I'm not good at them and get frustrated with them quickly.
