small update: a few interviews scheduled. Crossed fingers and small prayers accepted. :D

I'm a 35 year old female very recently unemployed (but hopefully not for long!) I joined swap-bot because I wanted to get my creative juices flowing while I found a new job. For now I will poke around and will join a swap ONLY when I know there is no possibility of flaking out and that I will be able to get my swaps out so please don't be discouraged by my member date vs when I joined an actual swap!

I have two mixed, furry children. A silver husky-malamutte mix and a schnauzer possibly airdale mix. Their actual breeds are unknown.

I am a Texas resident, born and raised but I am FAR from being a cowgirl! I've never owned a cow in my life. :D

Metaphysical, Fantasy, Horror, Suspense or a mix of any of those genres.

Some favorite authors: Joe Hill, John Steele and I used to be a HUGE Laurel K. Hamilton fan, to give you an idea of the books I like.

I crochet quite a bit and love photography. I'm a gemini so I bounce from craft to craft. Cross stich, swedish weaving, jewelry making and paper crafting such as mini albums. Would like to try my hand at other things.

Alice in wonderland. Disney (1951, not 2010) but totally love American McGee characters even though I've never played the game.

Frog PRINCE, not just general frogs.

Plain black tea or cinnamon tea. Not really a fan of fruity flavored teas or green tea and I mostly drink iced tea as opposed to hot teas but a lot of hot teas are yummy cold too. I'm open to trying other teas.

I will probably be burned at the stake for this, but washi tape. :O more specifically, washi tape SAMPLES as I've never owned or tried washi tape but I really don't understand washi tape samples. What does one do with a collection of samples? Can they be used for anything? Why not just send the whole roll? :D

I'm not a huge fan of the color pink or very "girlie" things but I can live with it.

I've always wanted a charm bracelet so if any of you crafty jewelry people out there want to send me a charm you've made that you're willing to part with, I won't say no. :D if it's fantasy related or country specific of where you're from even better but just knowing it was made by you is awesome enough.

And if random people just want to send me a store bought charm because you're that awesome, I won't say no either. :D just let me know why you chose it. I'd like to be able to tell people how I got it and why.

I will always do my best to only sign up for swaps I know I can deliver on. That's the point of joining right? However, if I don't receive my swap I will follow the established protocol of the reminder and the rating of the one but otherwise, it's ok.

Yes, it's disappointing to not get something but I WILL get over it! Frankly, I enjoy sending things out more and get a kick out of knowing if somebody totally loved what I sent. It's just nice getting something in the mail that a lot of thought and care was put into in return.

I will NEVER post your name on a list of shame because I find that to be childish. I already rated you a one, I don't need to shout it to the world or the heavens that you were bad. It is the responsibility of the person running swaps to check for those ones and I've done my part. Even then, I only do it because it's one thing to be a consistent flake or just someone out to get free stuff.

If you get me as a partner, know that I understand despite our best intentions, life CAN get in the way. I don't need you to be in the hospital as a reason to have not been able to get your stuff out. We're all adults and know the commitments we've made on here. I will trust that you will do your best and leave it at that. Just say "hey, sorry. it's on its way." And if it never gets here, you'll get a one. Easy peasy. :)
