Hey there! I’m Emkay! I’ve been penpalling and swapping for many years and am happy to have discovered this site!

I’m a married mom of two. I love to write, both fictionally and personally. I have a crumudgeon of a large black cat. And I drive a bright orange Jeep Wrangler. In other words I don’t take life all that seriously. 🥰

I have a bit of a craft addiction to be honest. If it involves glue and glitter I am all in! This makes my kids very happy. But my husband not so much.

I love glitter so much that I have been part of a glitter of the month package for a time. I have a 'glitter wall' in my craft room which probably has at least 50 different colours and types.

Im a 'Soaper' and hand make soaps and bath bombs for my Etsy shop. Yet another opportunity to play with colour and glitter. (Ocean safe! Not to worry!)

I ALSO make Glitter Tumblers. I have sold a few, but Soaping is my main saleable craft.

I have two craft rooms. One for soaping, and the other a main 'craft room'. Nothing beautiful and amazingly pinterest worthy. I love to drool over pictures on the net. But its still a place thats all mine. I love to spend time in there.

Im not a big TV watcher. Im often too busy being a mom, or working on my other hobbies. But there are times there is nothing better than curling up with the cat and hubby and watching something. I get on Kicks. Netflix is my best friend. I enjoy series like Greys Anatomy and Gilmore Girls. Though I am incessantly 'behind' on them! Its rare for me to follow a series to completion. But I'll pick it up now and again.

Im trying to read 52 books this year. So a book a week. I used to read sooo much when I was younger. But social media and other distractions have made it far to easy to forget my book. So Im trying to encourage the habit back.
