Hello everyone, I'm Kais. I'm 26 and a Primary Teacher. I live in Scotland and love it here. I'm friendly, honest and happy to chat to anyone and everyone. I've never tried swaps before but I have had penpals. I love writing to people so feel free to leave me a message. I have a wonderful Fiance and we are hoping to get married next year. I enjoy cooking and have recently started jam making. First one did not set very well but after that it just got better better. I love baking bread, mmmM! I am mad about animals and have two gorgeous dogs, three beautiful chickens, two perfect chinchillas and two cheeky cats.

This is a difficult one. I absolutely adore crafts of all kinds, but my absolute favourite crafts are anything to do with wool. I knit, crochet and spin wool. I taught myself how to prepare raw sheep fleece into something clean, soft and useable. I would love anything to do with wool or sheep in swaps/postcards, etc. I also enjoy sewing, especially quilting, but I can sew clothes and toys also. I like scrapbooking, card-making and jewellery making too. I have very recently started making hair bows too.

I love anything that is funny. My favourite programmes are from the eighties and early nineties. Anything with Rik Mayall in is a firm favourite, especially 'The Young Ones.' I also enjoy horror programmes such as 'Paranormal Witness' and 'Tales from the Darkside.' Crime and thriller dramas like 'Messiah' are really good too. I like nothing better than something really good on the telly, a cup of tea and some crochet.

I am not one for watching too many films, but I do like a good horror - as long as it is not too gory! Anything from the early eighties to nineties is good.

I like to read a lot of non-fiction books as I love learning. I enjoy craft books and learning language books. I love to read horror stories (see the theme here??) and classical romance, e.g. Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice. I also absolutely adore (even though she is a childrens writer) anything by Enid Blyton. I am reading The Magic Faraway Tree to my class, but I can't tell who is enjoying it more!

I have several things I want to acheive in my lifetime. - To have a family with my gorgeous Fiance. - To have our own house with a decent back garden. - To rescue more battery hens. - To have my own small business working with wool. - To have my own craft space filled with all of my craft items.

I like nice bright colours. Not a big fan of browns and pastels. I like lime green, yellow, purples and pinks, oranges, bright bliue, dark blue, turquoise. All the colours of the rainbow!
