Hi! My name is Gwenivere. I am a thirty something mom living in the USA.

I have 4 children and my husband is active duty Army.

I like to cook, be outside in nature and have fun with my children.

My favorite colors are purple, blue, turquoise and white.

I am an avid art journaler plus I create cards, wreaths and the occasional smash book/scrap book.

I have many crafting specialties I'd like to learn such as typography/calligraphy, sewing, mixed media on canvas, glue books, quilling, watercolor, acrylics, and photography/photoshop.

I am ever learning new techniques and mediums in the art world. I LOVE to see what other artists create so I collect handmade things. From ATCs to paintings, drawings to zentangle. Send me something you've made!

BOOKS:

Books are dear to my heart. I used to work at a library and loved every minute of it. I am more a mystery girl with a lil science fiction and biography mixed in here and there. My bookshelves are also full of self help and art books. I love library cards and due date cards with pockets. My fav!

TV:

Shows I like include Bones, Agents of Shield, Lie to Me, Strange Things and Stranger Things, Quantico, Rizzoli & Isles, and Baggage, the Zoo, baking shows like Cupcake Wars, Cake Boss & Cake Off. Also Skin Wars and certain reality tv

MOVIES:

I love a ton of movies but some of my favorites are The Patriot, The Avengers series, Save the Last Dance, Terminator series, Transformers, Guardians of the Galaxy set, etc. I like sci-fi and action so anything with aliens or end of the world scenarios. Not a fan of too many romcoms or kids movies.

MUSIC:

Music inspires me. I wish I could read music better so I could play piano better but I guess that's a someday goal. I like Gwen Stefani, Joss Stone, Adele, Micheal Buble, Beyoncé, and classical music including opera. I love Claire De Lune, Ava Maria, Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables, Mozart, Beethoven and many classic concert pianist pieces. I also love Christmas music even tho I don’t Christmas craft at all. Pentatonix Christmas is on repeat all December long at my house:)

I love GIRAFFES (including giraffe print) and my other fav animals are elephants, peacocks, cats, dogs and otters. You guys know what a fennec fox is? so cute!

I would love more ephemera or things to add to my art journal. I currently use acrylics, lots of rubber stamps, sprays, washi tape, die cuts, buttons/keys/etc., ribbon, markers, gelatos, paint pens, stencils and any cool design background paper. I can use unique buttons, stickers, used stamps, etc.

I love to add ticket stubs, postage stamps, and stickers to my pages. I can always use more of these things, ephemera and embellishments. I am in love with making ATCs and receiving them. I like anything that looks vintage or aged.

I also like the '20s, '30s, '40s, and '50s fashions. I like sewing papers and designs even though I myself do not know how to sew. (my knowledge is: sew it to a paper and that's it) I am attempting to make a themed junk journal once I get enough supplies (and enough time). The theme is Paris fashion/sewing
