I am an avid crafter of all kinds- knitting, crochet, beading, scrapbooking, sewing, stamping, you name it! I love to learn new techniques, and teach them, too. The common theme in all my crafts seems to be bright colors and sparkles! I love rainbow colored yarn, fabric, jewelry...you name it. Some of my favorite yarns are Koigu, with the beautiful color combinations, and Mochi, which has such lovely color gradations. When I make jewelry, I love to use celtic knotwork as part of the theme. Celtic knotwork makes its way into most of my designs in a lot of my crafts.

My favorite soundtrack is the Phantom of the Opera movie score. I could listen to Gerard Butler sing all day! I don't think I have a favorite type of music, but I do love celtic music, broadway musicals, movie soundtracks, Josh Groban, and GLEE.

One day I hope to be able to visit Scotland and Ireland. There is just something about the culture and history, esp. of Scotland, that I feel drawn to. Tartan fabric, wool yarn, aran knits, the beauty of the highlands, the history and how it is still a vital part of the country, that's what I hope to experience someday.
