Blessed having a wonderful husband and two daughters. It’s been a crazy past couple years - both daughters getting married and the birth of first grandchild and, of course, Covid.

Books are my weakness, mostly nonfiction, biographies and the occasional fiction if it’s gotten great reviews. I’ve opened two used bookstores - my own years ago and recently one for our local library. Right now I’m on a kick reading books written by comedian/writers - Tina Fey, Mindy Kaling, Alan Zweibel, Aziz Ansari, Amy Poehler and just finished Colin Jost book that I REALLY enjoyed!

My favorites are comedies. Harold and Maude, The Graduate, Matilda, Galaxy Quest to name a few.

Humor again! Right now I love watching the Big Bang Theory, Young Shelton, Grace and Frankie, SNL, Colbert, Corden and 30 Rock. Have discovered some wonderful comedies during the pandemic - Schitts Creek (LOVED), and 3 British imports, Episodes, The IT Crowd and the delightful Kim’s Convenience. Do enjoy a good drama - The Crown, The Good Doctor, The Queen’s Gambit, and you can’t beat Breaking Bad for those “what’s going to happen next” moments.

Nothing beats humor as an escape from the world, In 2019 I crossed off one of my Bucket List wishes... going to Montreal’s comedy festival Just for Laughs!

Just love getting and sending mail!. Can’t send an envelope out without decorating it, usually with rubber stamps. I especially appreciate getting humorous or clever mail — or anything that makes me smile.

It may take a while longer to receive my postcards... I usually use vintage postage stamps on all my mail and it often confuses the USPS. And more often than not, the stamps aren’t cancelled! After a wait please let me know if you never receive it and l’ll resend a card with recent stamps.
