Hi all, My name is Elena and I live in Barcelona. I'm 32 years old and I would like to be mom this year (great decision!). I'm librarian and I work in one of the publics libraries you can find in the city. I love all the animals but my weakness are cats and I'm trying to persuade my husband to adopt one or two but he is difficult to convince. I like so much Patchwork. I've made two bed quilts, and I wish to had more time to make more. I love sewing too, especially handbags and wallets. One of my dreams is to start a little business of handmade bags with my best friend Mary, but we have a long, long way to go.

I don't have many preferences about fabrics I like stripes, dots, solids, florals,all the colors .... I'm fabricaddicted so is so easy to make me happy, but if is possible I prefer 100 % cottons. I don't like Disney fabrics, bears,cats, kids, cartoons and batiks. I like buttons, especially self-cover buttons (very difficult to find in Barcelona), ribbons, bag patterns, ... I'm looking for the skirt pattern you can see on Stitch magazine cover, if you have one please, please send me a copy I will be very happy. I would like to make a mat for my sewing machine with selvedges scraps. I do not have enough yet, so don't throw away your selvedges, please. I don't like incense, it gives me a terrible headache.I

I enjoy cooking, really enjoyed, so I like all the meals you can imagine. I love to make jam, cakes, cookies, vegetable and pulse stew, soups, big meals with all the family, .. On the weekends I usually drinks tea, because I have more time to relaxing but during the week I prefer coffe at the mornings.
