I have taken a very long break from Swapbot, but I am back! I miss the excitement of getting something in the mail that was created just for me. I hope to create a few swaps & just have to re-familiarize myself with software.

CARDS, Scrapbooks & ATC's. I crochet, embroider & used to macrame a lot of items, but its been awhile. Some jewelery making & painting, too. CARDS, did I mention cards, thats my favorite. I would like to learn to knit, but it looks a bit harder than crocheting & I just haven't had the time or opportunity.

I just started a fairy garden! They are so magical. I have a big oak tree in my front yard & a picture window where I can see the fairies. It is very simple and in the beginning stage, but I can see it turning into something very enjoyable,

I really like living in sunny Florida. I think I'm solar powered. Have always enjoyed working with my hands, although I've never felt very artistic, until I started papercrafting. I love color, texture, pattern and find it very satisfying to put a card together, give it to someone, and see their positive reaction. I love children (they're awesome, expecially mine), landscaping/gardening and a good dirty vodka martini! I'm a born again geek, always trying to learn something new and would like to go back to school.

The Hobbit, The Plagged Dogs, Watership Down, Clan of the Cave Bears (awful movie, excellent book) anything fiction/fantasy based I seem to enjoy more than say, bios or novels, but I read those as well. I am also into instructional manuals, weird, huh? I definately read all of the instructions & count to make sure all the parts are there. I like alot of magazines, too. Not as big a commitment as a WHOLE book.

GAME OF THRONES

Discovery channel, PBS, History channel anything that can teach me something. I typically don't watch a lot of television, I would rather be making something!

I am really enjoying Swap-bot! I have completed several swaps and it seems my partners liked the items I've sent. I know I AM so happy to go to the mailbox & see that envelope or package with something that was choosen or made for just me, by someone who is into crafting as much as I am. It's a wonderful thing and I am addicted!

Favorite things; I guess I would describe my style as clean, sophisticated, graphic, classic. I love PURPLE, children, my children, long haired kitties, green plants, flowers, orchids, sleeping in on the weekend...love it! Recycling and always passing on serviceable items that you don't need any more, to someone who does. Random acts of kindness, patience, listening, compassion and helping others when they need it. Not with cash, more like helping someone move, cutting their grass, making a meal for someone who is feeling under the weather. Seems we don't do this as much as we used to.
