Hi, my name is Joelle, I'm a 27 year old from Canada and I'm very french. English is my second language, so that's why I probably make so many grammatical errors in your swaps ;) Sorry !

I LOVE to craft ! After many years of university, a bachelor's degree and a masters degree, like one does because they have a student loan to pay, I got a day job. Crafting and Roller Derby is what have kept me from loosing my mind (even tho I really like my job at the moment, I do wish to work for myself one day).

Me and a group of friends started a "Craft circle" where we meet every week or so to craft and share our passion for the hand made, local products. Most of us crochet and knit, but sometimes one of us would come up with a new craft outside of our regular yarn projects.

I'm a HUGE movie and comic book nerd. I read the classics like Wonder Woman and TMNT, but I also fallow some of the newer comics, my favorites being Lumberjanes and Rat Queens.(Yes they are as amazing as they sound !)

I love anything geeky. I'm a Doctor who fan, as well as a Star Wars fan since I was a kid.

So here I am, trying to Swap with amazing people from all over the world :)

I'd say the postcards swaps are my favorites !

Weather they are naked and written on, or in an enveloppe untouched, I LOVE receiving postcards. I often send extra postcards with my swaps just for fun :) If you'd like to send me an extra surprise, send me a postcard !

Where to start ?

I'd say what I'm best at is anything that involves yarn. Knitting, crochet, felting ... But I also do cross-stitch, embroidery, DIY projects, paint, paper craft such as origami...

Crafting is what keeps me sane and allow me to be creative !

I love up-cycling and making new stuff from old stuff. Up-cycling is where I can be the most creative. I often turn bed sheets I find in thrift stores into dresses no one would guess I made myself.

Reducing and re-using what we have is one of the most important role we can play in saving the environment.

Yup, I'm a derby girl.

I've been playing since 2013. I'm currently the captain of our home team here in Moncton, New-Brunswick, and my love for the sports just keeps growing !
