My book no-nos: in addition to those listed in the rules for the swap, I'm not a big fan of sci-fi or fantasy. I love true crime, thriller, chick-lit etc. Prefer no non-fiction unless it is really interesting and unusual. ~~~~~~~~

Carla owns a publishing company called By the Book Publishing and spends her time writing for herself and others. In addition to being a business owner, a former elected official, and an author of five books, she is a communications specialist with experience in government relations and media relations. THEMES I love anything vintage writing or reading (think old love letters, mysterious postcards, and wax sealed letters).

Not so much into dark or gothic stuff. This includes tarot cards etc. Just doesn't do it for me.

I love elegant, interesting, and creative stuff. Think tone on tone with a touch of metal, understated but distinctive. I know, vague but you just know it when you see it. Or google "Elegant Home Design" and look under the images tab.

I value creativity - so if you want to follow the swap to the absolute letter, hey, you do you. I'll probably try to make it even more interesting by putting a bit of a 'twist' to it. Cause you know, I do me.

Not really interested in a pen pal, although if that happens organically, sure. Basically, I'm looking for another way to express my creativity as well as get some fun mail!
