A little introduction, I am from the Netherlands and are a stay @ home mom with two children. A little boy of 5 and a little girl of almost 3.

I am a very active mom who loves to undertake things with the kids and I cook home made meals every day. I like to cook as much as possible from scratch and preferably organic.

We live in a small village in an old house however we dream of a house in Italy. When I was younger I lived in France with my parents and little sister, and I have also lived in Africa. I love to travel which reflects one of the jobs I have done: air hostess. I stopped with flying roughly 10 years ago and became a project manager. My last job was manager director, however the workload did not match with the family life I wanted to live. I was fortunate enough to be able to stop work for a couple of years to focus on my family live.

Well, I hope this gives an impression of who I am. I will be adding when I have read other profiles and got some more inspiration. ;0)

Happy snailmail/swapping everybody!

I love to work with paper and washi tape to make beautiful booklets, envelops etc. I love to make a snailmail/swap with a theme.

I have been knitting for some time, and must admit, mostly scarfs for the winter for my family and friends. Recently I have also learned crochet and I am some how addicted. I really think it is a very nice way to use yarn.

Unfortunatley I cannot drink anything with either caffeine or theine in it. I am very fond of tea but due to my allergy only herbal tea.

I am also very sensible to parfum, the smell can sometimes give me a migraine and my skin disagrees with it. Natural oils are okay.

I love bright colors such as PINK, TURQUOISE, LIME, YELLOW, ORANGE, PURPLE. These colors I use in my interior with a white base.

However, when it comes to swaps, I am up for any color.

Candles, flowers, butterflies, chocolate, paper, wine, black&white drawings, stamps, Starbucks, iPhone, hiking, photography, geo-caching, ski-ing... and probably much more but for now this is what I can think of ;0)

I am really into crochet lately and have made a few granny shawls (see my Pinterest page). HOwever I also love to make cranny squares, mandalas, flowers etc. I am not into the amigurumi. All I knit is "flat" and with needle 4 or 5 (European size).

My favorite yarn would be Paris Drops (cotton) and Stylecraft Special DK (acrylic).
