Hi:) My name is Doreen but friends call me Re. I am 45. A mother of 3 grown kids and I have 1 grandchild. I am a hair stylist. Have done hair since 1988. Love it!! I also make jewelry. Mostly for me, but I have sold a little bit at my salon. I love to read. I can be a bit of a bookworm. I love gadgets. Especially cell phones. If I could only afford to buy the newest every 6months. I love to email and text, and just recently got back into snail mail. I haven't done it since I was a kid. I am a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan! Some day we will get a ring lol. I have never done swaps before. So this is all new to me. It seems like loads of fun!!

I love all kinds of music, but I would say my favorite is 80's and old school R&B. I especially enjoy 80's music when friends and I go out to sing karaoke! I am terrible, but we do it at bars so after a few drinks I feel like a rock star and everybody doesn't realize their ears are bleeding! Hahaha

I have read everyday of my life since I was a little girl. I can't say I have a favorite. Right now it seems I am going thru a fantasy stage. I am loving books about angels and demons, some vampire and werewolf type books. I enjoy chick lit, thriller, romantic, humor, romantic, I would love to start a collection of the classics. Right now I don't have the time or money to start collecting.

My favorite movie of all time is Steel Magnolias. The original. I saw they came out with a new version. The cast of the 1st one was fantastic. That movie for me brings out the best of all my emotions. Plus there is nothing better than laughing thru tears. I also enjoyed... The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Face Off, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Titanic, and The Notebook which I must have watched a 1000 times!

I really don't watch a lot of television. It is usually on more for background noise. I do LOVE True Blood and Game of Thrones. I also enjoy Law & Order SVU. Two and a Half Men was great with Charlie Sheen and watch the reruns when I am flipping channels. I also love All in the Family. My kids watch a show called Tosh .O which I find kinda funny as well.

I make jewelry as a hobby. I also am trying to teach myself chain maille. Bead embroidery is beautiful and I have found some stunning necklaces and bracelets on Pinterest that I would love to try.

I am a huge animal lover. Unfortunately these days I live in an apartment. So I just have 1 cat and one parrot. The cat is really my boyfriends and lets me know I am lowest on the totem pole at my house. Herbie my African Grey is my baby. He makes me laugh everyday. I think I would like to start collecting parrot feathers. I have some ideas for jewelry that I wanna try out.

I am just starting to collect postcards. I also have a thing for stationary with matching envelopes. I also am starting to keep journals again. Another thing I did when I was younger and stopped after I had children. Now I am finding how much I loved it. Short poems, random thoughts, happy memories as well as the bittersweet. I think I might like to start a scrapbook again as well. Years ago I got into stamping and decorating cards. It was lots of fun and another hobby I may start up again!

Wolves , anything with fairies, bookmarks, stones and small rocks and shells ( I like to make jewelry w/natural things). I also love angels and anything American Indian. I think I said somewhere in my profile about postcards too.

I think handmade paper is beautiful and would love to start collecting it as well as making it.

I am also a nut for beauty samples! Perfume especially! But all kinds of cleansers, make-up etc. I love getting samples in the mail.

I used to collect different oils too. The perfume ones to wear. I used to buy 1 or 2 a week at this little Indian store. Unfortunately the store closed and I can't get them anymore. I lived them more then perfume. They were cheap and lasted all day long.

Socks, especially toe socks :), Ear warmers head band style, Love the color blue, and pink, Mittens & gloves, Incense & candles lts of different smells, Fluffy cozy things (i'm always cold), Scarves... I swear I'm going to learn to knit or crochet, Body lotion... Dry hair dresser hands lol, Those roll on oils instead of perfume... They used to be like 3 or 4 bucks but I can't find them any more, I also love hot tea and hot cocoa. Fingerless gloves. Leg warmers.
