I will be on vacation out of state mid-month through Christmas to visit family. During this time, I will still be sending mail, but I won't get any of what y'all send until I return. I will post ratings on everything I receive while I am away within a couple of days after Christmas.
I like to receive mail and learn about people from all over the world, to be introduced to things I wouldn't otherwise, and to be inspired by the many forms of creativity others come up with. I enjoy reading what y'all want to share about yourselves. But even more than that I LOVE putting mail together, making something that you will hopefully enjoy. I love the idea that when you receive it you will be excited to open it and will have a big ole smile on your face the whole time, maybe even some laughs!
I have been pen-palling since 2021 and started swapping in 2023.
My rating goal: I rate as soon as I receive your mail if I receive it in a timely manner, and I check my P.O. Box at least every other day. If I have not rated your mail, then most likely I have not received it. I will contact you at least once before rating you with a 3 or 1. I appreciate you letting me know if you will be late sending your mail, but I don't check postmark dates. I do this for fun and that feels more like work. Typically I wait 4 weeks for US mail and 6 to 8 for International mail from the due date before checking in. If it has been longer than these periods and I'm not as active when I do receive it then it may not get rated right away, but I will always rate anything I receive.
My swapping promise! I will NOT flake. If I sign up for a swap, I send that mail! I try to send swaps out within a day or two of partners being assigned, but I also want to take my time and make something YOU specifically will like and that does take some time. If you do not receive yours in a reasonable time, please let me know, and I'll send you a replacement swap and/or photos of the one I sent. Sometimes I need a break and have to step away (not often). If this is the case I will still send ALL swaps I have signed up for and will just not sign up for any new ones for a while!
