I'm a junior high math and language arts teacher at a private school. I love reading, making jewelry, baking, and crafting. My absolute favorite color is purple in all it's forms but mostly plum or violet ( absolutely different those two).

I'm not married and don't have any children. I love doggies but I don't have one a) because I'm allergic but mostly b) because my sweet cocker spaniel lost a fight with cancer and I haven't gotten over it yet.

I probably spend too much time on Pinterest and Instagram. Same user name for Instagram.. I'm consistent.

All sorts! I love my iPod. I listen to just about everything! Depends on my mood. The only music I tend not to be kindred spirits with is metal.

According to my iPod my "Top 25" include Maroon 5, the Pitch Perfect soundtrack, Diplo, Beyonce, Rascal Flatts, Skrillex, One Direction,Alicia Keys, Lady Antebellum, and the Academy of St Martin in the fields .....quite eclectic when put together! My top three genres are pop, country, and classical.

Love reading scifi/fantasy like books by Bishop, Brust, Goodkind, Green, Tolkien, Jordan

Also into all the "young adult" fiction. Partly so that I can recommend books to my students, but also because they are fun to read.

DWTS, Yukon Men, Alaska the Last Frontier, Mythbusters, Dual Survival, Duck Dynasty, Swamp People, Dr. Pol, River Monsters, and all things HGTV!

Jewelry making. I work with pearls and gemstones.

Paper crafts... I love my cricut, making cards or different crafts for my family and friends. Mostly card or banner making although I have done a couple of scrapbooks as gifts for friends.

Baking... I love baking! Cakes, cupcakes, cookies or any exciting recipe found on Pinterest!

Purple! I'm a leetle obsessed!

Scarves!

Crochet and lace. I crochet, but I'm not very good at it! I get impatient! I'm trying to do a blanket challenge in 2014 where you just do 2 granny squares a week. That I can handle!

I live learning about different cultures, countries, and languages.

I love trees! No really. One of the benefits of living where I live is that I'm so close to the giant redwoods. But any trees work. If I could live in a cabin on the edge of or in a forest that would be awesome! Trees have different moods and so do I ,so I love them all! Redwoods, oak, maple ,poplar, birch, linden,palm, yucca all of them!

I also love the beach and anything beach related! Shells, sand, sea glass.

I like rocks, minerals, and gemstones in their pure or human altered form.

Anything sparkly. I think my veins are filled with glitter!

I collect Swarovski crystal

I'm fairly addicted to Pinterest.

Things that are religious in nature. I'm Catholic so prayer cards, saint cards, prayers, rosaries, crosses. Although I really just love learning about other faiths too!

I honestly can't narrow down one favorite holiday. I love them all! My birthday is on the Fourth of July.

I love the colors and feel of autumn, the oranges and yellows, and the leaves and the smell of apples and cinnamon.

Halloween is fun and I definitely get into the spirit ( heh, no pun intended) but I think it just might be my least favorite because of the grossness factor. Cute or funny Halloween? Awesome! Bloody icky Halloween? Meh...not so much

My favorite princess Is Belle although my favorite music is from The Little Mermaid or The Lion King. I have seen productions of The Lion King seven times.
