I am 46 years old. I first joined this site to trade more postcards, but have discovered other "favorites" or new crafts. Favorites are cemetery photos, practicing photography in general, Zentangles, handmade cards and note cards. I also love making envelopes. I try some ATCs, but like the Zentangles still need lots of practice, so be patient with me and not too critical. When I have the time, I love to journal.

I work as a systems analyst at a hospital. I have a lot of people who come at me every day with little problems and big problems. I do my best to be polite and not come off as someone who knows so much. Any one who does know me, knows this is far from the truth. I make so many stupid mistakes.

I have three grown children and one child at home who is 15. My kids range in age 26 -15. I have three dogs. (I just have one dog now, my Shih-Tzu. I lost the other two this past March and April 2013. Please don't send any dog items - postcard, stickers or whatever. I miss my dogs a lot. One had cancer and the other out of control diabetes.) Greyhound/Yellow lab mix about 11 years old. I have a 4 year old Dalmatian. And lastly, I have a Shih Tzu who is 1. They are a motley crew for sure. I am a single parent.

I like military postcards the most above everything else. They can be hard to come by for many people.

I love to do genealogy and try new crafts. I'm not always successful and often start more than one project at a time. This means some never get done!!!

TEA SWAPS I thought I would try some tea swaps. I am open to any tea, but would prefer it to be packaged in it's original packet. I do not like lemon in any kind of drink, so any tea with lemon flavoring I probably would not like. I am open to any other flavor or combination of flavor.

New Age, Movie Sound Tracks

I like a lot of different books. Mostly I have been reading Paranormal books. I got hooked on them.

Love Harry Potter - my 15 year has always worn round glasses, so he gets called a blond Harry Potter a lot.

I love to look at books about different crafts to get ideas, or to really try my hand at something new.

I love biographies - not really celebs, but real stories about real people. Celebs are real people, too, but I hear enough about them.

I love Youth Paranormal, Addison Moore, Elle Casey, Quinn Loftis.....read them if you haven't. Great new authors.

I think I mentioned post cards already. You would make me very happy just sending postcards.

I recently discovered Zentangles from another swap. They look really easy, but I keep trying and keep failing. But, practice makes perfect.

I love genealogy, but not sure there is something you could send about that. Oh yes, there is.....at my library I can print off pages from micro fish for free, so if this is something that you can do for free, then I would love old newspaper articles about crime, politcs, current events at that time, or comics or advertisements that sound really funny to us now, but weren't at the time they were written.

I am trying my hand at making postcards and greeting cards. I do cross-stitch and would love to sit long enough to needlepoint.

I've started to make handmade envelopes.
