July 2nd 2022: I apologize for any late reply to messages/rating. If I haven’t rated you please let me know, I believe I’m caught up. Some things happened and it’s been a rough couple of weeks.

PLEASE do not send me any Halloween stuff. I don't like it, don't enjoy it, find specific Halloween items annoying. I'm talking the gawdy black/orange decorations & Halloween stickers and stuff. I don't mind horror, or spooky stuff, just not Halloween. I hope that makes sense.

Additionally....not a fan of Valentine themed items either. Super sappy stickers, cards and the like. If I join a Valentine's day themed swap, all's fair. Otherwise, plz avoid.

Please contact me if you don’t receive a swap. I will make it right. Mail is all over the place now, and I’ve received some swaps super late and had my sent mail get to it’s destination very late as well. Please Don’t jump to the conclusion that I didn’t send it!

I will be taking pics of ALL sent mail from this point on.

*if you feel you have sent your item and I should have received it, please let me know. I ALWAYS try to rate the day I receive an item but....sometimes life happens. * if you don't get your item from me, please let me know first. I think the mail is a lot slower than normal.

I enjoy my pen pals, but would like some more variety in my mail as well. I enjoy making my own envelopes depending on who I'm sending it to, though I don't get to artsy. I'm an introvert who misses old school mailing, and seeking a break from my computer screen.

I'm a hiker, camper, bird watcher, gardener, dog mom, cat mom, nerd, and avid reader. I will read almost any genre, and give any author a chance. I travel when I get the chance, which isn't nearly as often as I wish, but I still get around now and then. I used to run marathons and recently I've begun trying to get back into marathon shape- I enjoy the challenge of it. Not so much for exercise, but for the mind numbing slap of my shoes on pavement or on the trail. I like the "escape" from my stressful life it offers.

POSTCARDS: I'm picky about postcards. I prefer letters, and find postcards to be a touch impersonal. However, I do enjoy ones that depict specific small towns or parts of cities from where the postcard was sent. I also like pictures of old barns, farm equipment, and of course a good old garden/woodland/mountain scene.

I'm always on the lookout for fun (not neccesarily cute) stationary, cool paperclips, new washi tape, new pens/markers and stickers. I also enjoy items with a “vintagey” feel to them.

Things that I absolutely LOVE 💕 -I’m a huge animal lover, a soft spots for dogs(especially small fluffy ones, scruffy dogs, and pit bulls) Other faves include sloths, guinea pigs, dragons, donkeys and hippos, butterflies (I have one tattooed on me) -I like botanical themed items -I LOVE coffee

TEA: is okay but I’m more of a coffee drinker, but I generally like herbal teas and chai teas, and I really really like the nighttime "sleepy" teas NO green/black teas, and I'm really trying to expand my horizons there and cut back on the coffee -I like fruity flavors and light tastes

-I’m an old soul and prefer to sitting on my back deck or front porch watching the birds than meeting friends for brunch

-whimsical things and windmills, fairy tales, mythology, legends/folklore

Things I really DISLIKE: -anything with over the top fake fruity flavors, banana flavored things, coconuts, anything super sickly sweet (chocolates are okay, I mean the fake syrupy sweetness like in karo syrup)

-anime , Pokémon, video games

-lame “Good Job!” Type stickers, planner stickers

I’m also not a fan of overly girly things- too much pink makes me gag. I’d much prefer greens, blues, browns, grays and reds

-NO political statements please

-I Dislike clowns and circuses.

-Too many polka dots: washi tape or stickers is fine, but for the love of all that's good in this world, don't send me a polka dot themed package

-holiday themed if its not around that specific holiday

• I also am not much of a Disney fan- I enjoy many of their movies but don't like receiving Disney (in general) themed items (think the ears and castle logo). Instead, I prefer super specific movie themed items - think Lion King, Jungle Book, ect. , if that makes sense

Things I Don't Mind: -religious items, christian or jewish are okay and I'm always interested in learning about others

Forrest Gump, Ever After , Old Yeller, westerns, Ferdinand, Interview with a Vampire, Lion King (the original animated version), to name just a few

I tend to have favorite authors rather than specific books. BUT...the Outlander series are handsdown my faves ever. My copies are falling apart at the seams they've been read so many times! Some others that when they release a new book I always check it out are: Jodi Piccoult Elin Hilderbrand Richard Preston Robert Cook John Grisham

I'm also a member of Book of the Month club where I receive a new book to read every month
