I am a mom with a 19YO son and an artist for a husband plus I'm mom to two canine fur-babies, Bean and Rotor . I am a full-time technical writer and I freelance.

FAVORITE MUSIC

I like many different types of music including:

Classical both old and newer classical-type Classic rock Southern rock Indie

I'm really into Podcasts right now so I've not kept up with current music. I've liked a good bit of what I've heard so I'm open.

My favorite podcasts are old time radio shows, specifically detective shows. I also listen to a podcast from Writer's Digest, MarketPlace, a couple of history podcasts, and I try new podcasts when I run across them.

FAVORITE BOOKS

I like light, easy-reading mysteries like the Joanne Fluke mysteries, The Cat Who.... I also like science fiction and fantasy but I've been pretty disappointed in the vampire fiction I've read up to this point.

FAVORITE MOVIES

That's pretty easy. I don't like heavy drama, nothing with animals, no Disney cartoons with animals, zero horror.

So that leaves comedy, action, and documentaries.

My favorite movies are Streets of Fire and Murphy's Romance. Plus a bunch of even older movies like Bringing up Baby, Christmas In Connecticut, and many others.

FAVORITE TELEVISION

My dirty secret is I like soaps. It's true. I like mostly comedies or shows like Castle. I really like many of the British comedies and my favorite is Are You Being Served?

I also like Project Runway and Design Star. I watch all of the comic book shows, Arrow, S.H.E.I.L.D., Flash. I'm a fan girl.

LIKES My favorite color is red. I also love purple, black, jewel tones. I love birds and I have a bird Christmas tree. Holidays, especially Halloween. Marching band. Alabama Crimson Tide (Roll Tide) Baking is a favorite. Crafting (of course). Glitter is fun and essential. I'm learning to make art dolls of all different kinds. I love dogs and cats, too. Polymer clay and paper clay. I like spicy smells like cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves. Trying stuff from PINTEREST!! Dollar Tree. ATCs Altoid tin shrines are a fun, fun thing. I like making shrines in general.

DISLIKES Not much

PERSONAL STUFF I am a practicing Christian so Christian things are fine regardless of your denomination. Don't worry, I'm not going to make Christian things for people who don't want them but if you have questions, feel free to ask.

My husband is an artist--painter and sculptor--and my sonny son wants to be a musician...for now.

I love Swap-Bot and enjoy trying new things when I have the time. With everything I do, I sometimes need to make time to create for swaps because it keeps me sane.
