I am an artist. I love to paint and draw. My favorite subjects are my children. If you are my swap partner for an ATC or postcard you can expect to receive something hand drawn and sometimes painted. Ive only sent out one purchased postcard... We hit the sign- up deadline before I got an answer on if I could do a handmade. But I prefer to make my cards. There is so much satisfaction for me in that. I spend hours on each card. I hope to bring smiles when they are received.

I am a member of the WetCanvas community and my favorite place to hang out there is the critique center.

I am a cancer... A moon child. I love the sea and the creatures in it. Im interested in the zodiac and in dreams. I write down my best dreams. Sometimes they come true ( not always good ones)

I wont flake because i love the giving part. I will always rate because I appreciate the time and effort artists put into their work.

I love to pull weeds in my garden. I love to make canned tomatoes and jam. I love to camp. I love being outdoors.

I love ice skating and making snow sculptures.

I love alternative rock. I'm not sure why they call it alternative. It sounds good to me. I like Sia, Angus and Julie Stone, Amanda Palmer...

I married my best friend. He is very handsome! We have five children.

I don't really have a favorite craft. In fact... I dont do craft. If its a craft im doing i'll bust my butt to bring it to the level of art. I am all about art. It is my passion.

I have dabbled in special effects make up and that was really cool... making the alginate mask, plaster cast and finally the rubber mask. Cool stuff!

I like to make movies too... with special effects. Oh! And animation!

I love photography, papier mache, and twirlled paper.

I love illustrated books. The edge chronicals... Gorey... Alice in wonderland, the stinkey cheese man and i adore beautifully illustrated children's booms. I keep my eye out for Caldecot winners.

Harry potter series is a favorite, of course... And I love reference books. I have books on art, photography, plants, cooking, hand writing analysis, human anatomy, and chinese characters, to name a few.

I love the artwork of: chris riddell, brian froud, bernie wrightson, tim burton, and theresa janisse.

I general dont send extras. I dont have scrap-bookey stuff to begin with... And really I hope you will find the effort I've put into my art is worth a heart. I do become rather attached to some of the pieces I mail out and want to keep them. I hope you like them even half as much as I do.

If you have to do a profile based swap for me and need some ideas here are some things i like:

Sock monkeys, snowmen, sea turtles, pigs, flowers and plants, mechanical things with lots of parts, trees, waterfalls, sheet music, foreign languages, secret codes, buried treasure, dark themes, spooky stuff, old fashioned houses with big porches...
