Hello everyone. My name is Debora. I am a new and first time mother. I was involved in a pen pal program many years ago and enjoyed it very much. I made friends all over the world. It is so interesting to met and learn about other cultures.

Since having a preemie baby in December my days have been pretty full. She was born 3 months early weighing only 2lb 1 oz at birth. She did amazingly well and is happy and healthy at home now after 70 days in the NICU. She is now at a age where I can get back to crafting. A little bit at least. I grew up in Texas and currently live in Saginaw TX a small town outside of Fort Worth TX with my wonderful husband of three years, daughter and old man poodle pup. I'm excited to join my first swap and met some new wonderful people.

Crochet - My mom taught me when I was 7. I have been doing it on and off ever since. Small projects mostly.

Knitting - I learned about 7 years ago.

Quilting - I am self taught and do not follow the rules. This makes most quilters crazy. Im a free spirit quilter and it makes me happy.

Sewing - I have sewn for years. Mostly small projects like pillows, curtains, dolls, stuffed animals, coasters and bags.

Quilling - I love making things with paper. Have not gotten into scrapbooking because I do not need another obsession. Small quilling projects fills the gap for me.

I like to watch tv to unwind. Mostly to have noise on in the background. Never anything scary or gory. TV is for fun. Some of my favorite never miss shows are. Big Bang, Mike and Molly, Call the Midwife, Outlander (also best book), Big Brother.

Outlander for sure. all of them! I have read them for year. Like 20 years and cant get enough.
