I'm an aspiring writer, gardener, and crafter living on the beautiful west coast of British Columbia, Canada. I'm 31 years old, married, and the proud mother of two beautiful boys.

Things I do: Sewing (I'm a total n00b), baking/candy making (this I'm pretty good at), photography, writing poetry, general crafting.

Things I love: Plants. All things plant. Pictures, seeds, pots, paintings, poems, books, anything and everything to do with growing things.

Nature scenes - photos, paintings, drawings, poetry, collages, etc.

Being outside, and things that make being outside fun (games to play, clothing that keeps me warm when in the snow, travel mugs/cups).

I love old-school actresses like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. Pin up stuff is also awesome.

Simple jewelry and clothing. My absolute favourite colour is blue/green, so clothing and jewelry in those colours makes me very happy :)

My style (if it can be called that) is very simple. I'm not big into trends and I don't like flashy things. I do have super long hair, though, so hair ties and barrettes will be put to good use! Right now I'm pretty pregnant, so clothing is probably not a good idea, but anything baby would be very welcome!

I love ducks and duck-like things.

Postcards are awesome! Magnets are too. Especially kitschy, funny, or unique stuff. I also love traveling, so pictures and doo-dads from around the world are also favs of mine.

My fav holiday is Halloween because it's the most creative and spooky time of year. In 2010 Halloween literally changed my life because it inspired me to learn how to sew!

Finally, my favourite colour is green and my favourite season is autumn. It wasn't before I moved to Vancouver, but nothing beats the warm weather and gorgeous colours we have in September and October, not even summer! Also, note my favourite holiday, which also occurs in fall ;)

Things I do NOT like:

I do not like brand names splattered all over me. I don't think racism, sexism, homophobia, or hatred in general is acceptable or funny.

I don't particularly like skulls or bones.

Pre-ripped clothing is silly, IMO . I'm not really a fan of makeup. I think reality is prettier than misconception.
