What I pledged!

Thank you for looking at my profile. I always try to read profiles very well when I get swap partners to try to get them the best stuff I can think of...I appreciate you doing the same.

I'm an Army wife originally from San Pedro, CA currently in Fort Lewis, WA. I love sending and receiving snail mail. :D

I love getting and making handmade things. I feel like they've got a lot more character. I am working on learning to hand make things better, so please bear with me as I learn!

My favorite color is berry pink! Also high on my list are dark reds, maroon, fuchsia, and greens. Most of my house is done in sage greens, since that's the color we told everyone we liked when we got married and that's what color all the presents turned out to be!

I'm generally considered a geek and a weirdo. I like all sorts of strange things. I also like being creative and learning about new ways to make things...so Swap-Bit is really right up my ally! It's really inspiring just to look at the swaps and the Flickr pool.

No children, but one puppy: Peach, a greyhound/lab mix (we think). She's black and pretty small (about 30 pounds) and her favorite colors are red and pink. If you are sending her something, please, no rawhide.

I like to play video games when I'm not mailing things. We have a Wii, Xbox360, Nintendo DS Lite, PSP and PS2, :D At the moment, I can't get enough Rock Band 2! I'm not a great gamer, though...I mainly playthings that aren't very hard.

I also love taking walks and am beginning to do a bit of photography. The walk to and from the post office is quite pretty and I am trying to work up the nerve to take some pictures along the way. It's a busy street, so I might get some odd looks. One day I will do it, though.

Food Things!

I like milk chocolate the best, but darks and whites are also welcomed in moderation. My favorites are chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered strawberries! I would love to taste candies from other countries that are not available here. I pretty much like all candy except sour and coconut. :D

As for non-candy food...I wouldn't send it unless it was specifically asked for, as I have some problems with food.

Bracelets, watches, anything that goes on or has to do with wrists!! I have a weird phobia and will not wear these! I can do and like arm-warmers, though as long as they are long enough that the ends do not rest on my wrists.

Coconut, spiders, bugs, religious stuff, black licorice, banana chips, grape flavored things, political stuff

• Heart pendants and necklaces. I have a bit of a collection going on.
• cute hair things! I'm always looking for new bows or flowers to put over my ponytails! (Sets of 2 [1 for each side] only please!)
• sewing stuff!!! I just got a machine and am learning!!
• Cute collars for both me and the dog (we both wear the same size, approx 15 inches.)...no we don't share them.
• beanies/snow hats! This is my first winter outside of Southern California and now I know why people wear hats in the winter.
• Art/ATC/craft supplies! You can never have enough! I am kind of in need of those little ATC slip cover thingies.
• Mailing supplies. Unused US stamps and other mail stuff is always greatly appreciated.
• Aprons...I do a lot of baking and would love new aprons to keep my clothes clean.

I hate to add this but I've been flaked on in the following swaps by the following people...If you would like to angel, it would be apreciated, but I am by no means asking for angels, just trying to mention who to avoid-
