I'm a 30 years old female from Helsinki, Finland. Crafting is my number one hobby and sewing is what I like the most. I also love crocheting, knitting, screen printing fabric and all kinds of DIY projects. I'm always eager to try new crafts! My other hobbies include jogging, badminton and photographing. In summer I like to grow herbs on my balcony and to cycle around with my bicycle exploring new places. In winter I ski and go ice skating. I get enthusiastic easily and would like to learn all kinds of new skills, but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be enough hours in a day. :/ At the moment I'm interested in learning iOS programming, woodworking and to draw better. :o)

I’m also deeply in love with Scandinavian style interior design and decoration. I have a master’s degree in Finnish (I specialized in onomastics) and I have a great interest in linguistics and languages. My current projects are being able to read books written in North Sami without having to use dictionary so much and learning to understand spoken Danish better. :)

You’ll mostly see me participating in food category swaps. I love to get to taste different edible goodies from around the world & to choose and send Finnish goodies to swappers in other countries. I don’t collect anything and I have quite a minimalistic approach to items, which means I’m constantly trying to keep my home free from all the unnecessary stuff. Less is better. So edibles are a great thing to swap because they usually disappear very quickly! ;)

I love to drink tea! It's so much fun to get to taste all kinds of different teas and to find new favorites.

♥ I basically like all kinds of teas, but my favorite is flavored green tea.

♥ I like all kinds of chocolates: milk, dark and white, but I usually buy dark or milk chocolate.
♥ I like chocolate with special flavor or fillings. I especially love chocolate with peanut butter, nuts or sea salt!
♥ If there is chocolate with coconut in it available in your country (other than Bounty, Ritter Sport, Biona or Schogetten), I'd love to taste it!

♥ Some of my favorite chocolates that I can't get from Finland: everything from Reese's, everything with peanut butter, Milka chocolates (we only have the basic milk chocolate, Schoko & Keks, Luflée Caramel, Triolade and Choco Jelly), Ritter Sport seasonal editions, Marabou Co-Co, Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel, Lindt Hello Salted Caramel

♥ My favorite colors are white, black, grey and yellow. When it comes to clothes, I prefer black and grey.
♥ I like graphic motifs: stripes, dots, scallop edges, triangles etc.
♥ Being a geography freak I’ve always loved different maps. I often use vintage maps/map pages when I’m crafting with paper, so if you happen to have any spare ones lying around, you are very welcome to send them my way. :)
♥ My favorite character is Krtek (The Mole). He’s so adorable! :)
