I am a wife and mama of 1 little boy, 18 months old, and another little baby on the way! We live in sunny SC. I work part-time for a software development team, but spend most of my time at home, which is where I love to be!

I love crafting, baking, gardening, art projects when I find time, cleaning (well, ok not really), decorating, and playing with my son. I adore traveling, though it's taken a different form now that I'm in the "mommy" phase. My husband and I love relaxing by a bonfire in the fall and winter, watching tv, or going on road trips or weekend adventures together.

I am a food addict. I love cooking and baking, and definitely have a sweet tooth. I love coffee with cream and no sugar, hot tea, chocolate anything, and french pastry. My dream for a long time was to open a bakery: french baking is my absolute favorite.

When I have time for reading, I usually find myself reading scripture, theology of various reformed sorts, and classic fiction. As for movies and tv, it depends: if I'm with my husband, usually action or sci-fi, or crime tv shows. We like Sherlock, Downton Abbey, and Walking Dead (guilty pleasure). If it's just me, I opt for indie or foreign, or I'm a sucker for all of the PBS Masterpiece Classics shows.. Call the Midwife, etc.

I love music of all sorts. Years ago I followed indie / folk trends, and I still listen to a lot of that, though I don't keep up with the new stuff much. A shuffle of my iTunes would turn up Tom Waits, Andrew Bird, Joanna Newsom, John Prine, Andres Segovia, Man Man, and who knows what else.

There isn't much I dislike, but some things are "trinkets" of any kind, since I am seriously anti-clutter! I don't usually like things with "sayings" on them around the house. I don't like super pink / girly stuff, but I love simple and minimalistic designs.

I LOVE (and sort of hoard) craft supplies, particularly paper, tape, glue, etc., and love stationery and note cards. I love handmade / etsy style stuff. I love office supplies: pens, paper, notebooks, planners, magnets, etc. I love kitchen things (tea towels, utensils, food items) and while I don't have a huge makeup / "personal care" routine right now with a toddler, I like occasional "pamper" items like lotions, soaps, fuzzy socks, or pedicure things. I love candles, and anything fall and winter cozy feeling -- down here in the south, we have to have a lot of "help" imagining a cold winter! Haha. :)

My favorite colors change a lot, but I love earthy neutrals, browns, and greens. I like lavender and citrus scents, and earthy scents, and the usual pumpkin and hot cider in the fall. I don't like overly feminine / floral scents, or coconut, or tropical smelling things.

That's everything I can think of, and I feel a little sheepish having just written paragraphs about myself and my own likes... looking forward to reading about others and swapping some goodies!
