Hi! I'm Annalise. I've been swapping for over 10 years. (Anyone remember Nervousness.org?) I'm 34 years old (Libra), married and and living in Portland, OR. I have a 3.5 year old son named Leo. We also have a cat and a dog. I love exploring nature with my family, eating all the amazing food that this city has to offer, shopping for vintage finds at the thrift stores and reading when I can get a free moment. I love learning about Pagan religions, tarot cards, crystal healing and essential oils. I look forward to swapping with you all!

I've been weaving for about two years, and enjoy using beautiful yarns and wool roving to create wall hanging tapestries. I sell on Instagram and Etsy, and will sometimes surprise my swap partners with a mini weaving. :) I also enjoy watercolor painting and calligraphy/brush lettering. I swap slams and decos with my penpals. I currently have 7 penpals and am open to new penpals if we have similar interests and they put forth the same amount of effort into their packages as I do. Thanks to swap-bot I've gotten into pocket letters. I have a nice collection started now and look forward to swapping more! I really appreciate when people take time and effort in whatever they send.

I love fantasy films! The Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Mirror Mask, Willow, and The Last Unicorn are all wonderful. I also love 90s films like Reality Bites, Empire Records, The Craft and Romeo and Juliet. My husband and I watch documentaries together (Grey Gardens!!!) some of my other favorites are about the food industry, politics and this beautiful earth we call home. I can sing all the Disney songs from when I was a child and they hold a fond place in my heart, but I'm really not interested in receiving anything Disney.

I'm a huge fan of fiction, specifically historical fiction. Some favorites are The Shadow of the Wind, Half of a Yellow Sun, and Snow Flower and The Secret Fan. I also love Harry Potter, and the His Dark Materials series. I'm also interested in non-fiction about crystals, essential oils, pagan religions, and history. I'm not a fan of romance, Christian religious texts, or non-fiction (except on topics listed above).

We don't have cable TV so everything is Netflix. Right now I'm watching Jessica Jones and Making a Murder. I'm also catching up on all the old X-Files episodes. I was watching Once Upon a Time, which is kind of cheese but super fun. I loved LOST when it was on too. Twin Peaks, Seinfeld, and Northern Exposure are all good ones too.

colors: black (I'm a goth girl at heart), burgundy, dark red and wine colors, forest green, teal, turquoise, indigo, yellow, pink... I'm a fan of any color as long as they are displayed in an artistic way. :)

tea: Fruity like blackberry, raspberry or current. Chai or black teas. Teas that are herbal medicinal are also welcome. I also love good coffee (not Starbucks). I really prefer natural and organic ingredients.

food: chocolate (not white chocolate) or hard candy. no licorice. no allergies. :)

scents: cinnamon, musky vanilla (not super sweet like cake), pine, campfire, fruits and florals

animals: Forest creatures like birds, foxes, bears, squirrels, wolves, deer etc.. Sea creatures like jellyfish, octopus, whales, starfish. French bulldogs, Boston terriers, and cats. fantasy: faeries, goblins, gnomes (I love Brian Froud artwork, but not Amy Brown), mermaids and vampires

religious: Pagan, Wiccan, kitchen witch, hedge witch

other: vintage clothing and ephemera

Things I would love to get: +nice colorful ink and gel pens (no ball point pens or sharpies please) +stickers - animals, space- sun, moon, stars, mushrooms, ocean, I love San X and other cute Japanese brands. No reward stickers please. No Disney or cars/trucks etc. +rubber stamps and stamp pads +rub ons +washi tape +Pagan items: incense, candles, tarot cards, crystals, charms, books, dream catchers, jewelry, etc.

No thank you: -I'm not crazy about Hello Kitty or other Sanrio characters (except deery-lou). -No Diddle, Disney, Pooh Bear, My Little Pony, Peanuts, etc... -nothing religious unless it falls under one of the categories above :) -No reward stickers please.
