I'm a stay at home mom who has been penpalling for about 14 years now.

I have been married for 18 years to my high school sweetheart. He's in the army so we move around every couple of years. Right now we live in Texas. Texas is where we are from so we are thrilled to be back home! He is going to retire in the next 3 years and we will be living here permanently again. I can't wait!

I am trying to figure out what to do with my life. Both of my kids are in school all day, so I have lots of free time. I want to be more crafty and I would love to write a book someday.

I read other genres too of course. I love reading about Japan, WWII, and many other things. I really like historical fiction. If it sounds good I will pick it up and try it.

I don't read romance, murder, western, or mystery books though.

I am not a big movie person. I like them but would rather watch tv. But I do have some favorites. American Sniper, Titanic, Moulin Rouge, Star Wars, any Jason Statham movie, Twilight movies, Grease, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Gone With the Wind

I watch The Big Bang Theory, Sister Wives, Brooklyn 99, The Mindy Project, Saturday Night Live,Scorpion, Gotham, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones

I also love to watch cartoons. I even watch without my kids sometimes. ;)

I love home improvement shows. My favorites are Property Brothers and Fixer Upper. I would love either of them to redo my house one day.

New crayons, glitter, sparkly stuff, flip-flops, the beach, journaling, garage sales, thrift stores, Asian things, and rum. ;) Tex-Mex, fresh baked bread, puzzles, word games, playing card games

I love pens with different colored ink, not black or blue.

I'm always on the look out for neat stationary. I can't ever find any in stores.

Oh and chocolate. NOT dark chocolate though. YUCK!

I don't like coffee, tea, writing with black ink, animal things (not animals, just things with animals on them) exercising, lateness, mean people, the color brown, sweat.

I am just starting to get into crafting. I like to paint. I go to thrift stores and buy things to repaint. Love it!

I also love to color. I mainly use colored pencils to color pictures that I print online.

I do keep a journal as well. I doodle in it when I'm not writing. I would love to learn more about zentangle. I just haven't done it yet.

I love getting postcards from anywhere. I will swap with you if you ask. ;)
