Due to the time difference between Australia and the US, there may sometimes be a difference in the date I mark as sent, and the date of the postmark. Anything I post from Friday evening onwards is usually not postmarked until the following Monday

I'm a 29 yo female from Melbourne Australia and have decided to rekindle my interest in swapping postcards after a 10 year hiatus. Some fun facts about me: I'm a twin (have a twin sister Anna), I'm a vegetarian, I'm left handed and I share a birthday with Hello Kitty!! My favorite colours are purple and pink. I have two rescued ex-racing greyhounds called Suzie and Sandy

I used to make handmade crafts for swapping but I don’t have as much time for that, so I’m just sticking with postcard swaps at the moment. Maybe I will get back into crafting some day.

My interests include:
drinking tea, gardening, plants, bonsai, terrariums, botanical art, watercolour painting, desserts and cakes, reading, listening to music, collecting postcards, travelling, other countries and cultures and foreign languages, the environment, social justice and human rights issues.

As far as postcards go, I prefer handmade postcards or "arty" postcards, I'm not so into touristy postcards. I do collect free postcards as well so long as they are a bit "arty" looking and not just blatant advertising.

I’m happy to receive my postcards naked and stamped, with the exception of senders choice cards which I’d prefer in an envelope, so I can pass them on if they don’t fit in with my collection/tastes. Also if you are sending cards to me from multiple swaps, I don’t mind if you want to combine them in an envelope to save on postage.

Things I don't like include meat, spiders, cockroaches, dung beetles, apples, grapes and really 70's and 80's patterns. I also dislike all forms of bigotry (sexism, racism, homophobia and so on).

ABOUT RELIGIOUS ITEMS: please do not send me any religious items. I have nothing against any religion, but would just prefer not to be sent such items. It's not that I find any religion offensive, on the contrary I'm all for religious freedom, but I'm not really religious myself so I don't really have any use for religious items.
