Oh, I hate these profile things. I never know what to say! I am a mother and a wife. I have two girls, 10 and 5 and they love to keep me busy as their very own personal assistant. My husband works at a boat yard, not surprising since we live on the coast of Maine. He is also a tattoo artist (jealous). I work as a graphic designer (he’s jealous). In my spare time, that is when I have any spare time, I love crafting and shopping. I am a clothing whore! My husband is not very fond of either hobby since I usually make him participate in one way or another. He says I take up too much space in the closet and doesn’t understand why the kitchen table is used more for crafting then for eating. I love animals, especially dogs and cats. I have two cats, one is a Maine Coon (another shocker), and the other, according to my vet, is a descendant from the London Ally cat (still scratching my head on that one). I had a wonderful dog named Andy named after the artist Andrew Wyeth. He was a beautiful chocolate lab, but he recently passed away due to old age, very sad loss. I grew up in New York and was born in Buffalo where I lived for the first seven years of my childhood. Then my parents moved us down to Long Island for seven more years, and from there to Maine where I currently live. Maine is absolutely beautiful, but the winters are much too long, good cell service is nonexistent and the shopping plazas are way too far away! I'm not well versed at many things, but I love to test my skills at anything I don’t think I can do. I usually end up surprising myself. I hate flying so I haven’t traveled as much as I would like. So I thought Swap-bot is just perfect for meeting new people in other states and parts of the world. Wow, I guess I figured out what to say, lol!

I'm in to a lot of different kinds of music, way to many to list and I try not to discriminate on any, with the exception of country. I just can’t listen to it. Although, I must admit I like a few Taylor Swift songs. Old 80s music, pop, r&b, popular radio, punk, ska, rock, etc., etc.. Some of my favorite artists are Dropkick Murphys, Linkin Park, The Mumford Brothers, Black Eyed Peas, Jay-z, Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, Black Sabbath. But my favorites usually change on a weekly basis anyways.

I can't seem to find the time to read as much as I would like. I like to read good mysteries or books like the Twighlight series and Steven King. Stories with animals in them seem to be good. I'm currently reading The Host and my next books will be The Sookie Stackhouse series.

I love horror movies, especially foreign horror and suspense films! The Orphanage, Let the Right One In, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played with Fire, Timecrimes were all favorites. I like funny movies too, like Date Night, Get Him to the Greek, Death at a Funeral, movies like Inception, Blood Diamond, Departed, True Grit, and films by Clint Eastwood and the Coen Brothers are all great films. Ooh, and any movie with Johnny Depp, like most girls, he's my favorite actor!

I love series like LOST, True Blood, The Walking Dead. I also watch a lot of shows on Discovery, Science and History channels like An Idiot Abroad (Hilarious, highly recommend this show!), Pawn Stars, Man vs. Food, Dirty Jobs, Oddities, etc.. Reality shows like The Jersey Shore (guilty pleasure!)

I love to sew, working with felt and vintage fabrics, jewelry, graphic design, zakka and kawaii inspired projects. I love collecting beads, trims and buttons. I love Japanese kawaii linen fabrics, polka dots and gingham fabrics.
