Children's librarian and crafty person. I spin, I knit, if it relates to fiber I do it. In my creative, but non-crafty life, I write fan fiction. I love coffee and chocolate, or chocolate and coffee. I have three boys and a stay at home husband.

I watch all the CSIs, Brit Mysteries (Like Midsomers Murders or Hamish MacBeth), Desperate Housewives, Doctor Who/Torchwood, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Martha Stewart (I never do anything from her show, I just like watching it.)Dead shows I like and mourn: Piglet Files, 20 Minutes into the Future (Points if you know what that is w/o Google), Due South, Northern Exposure, Chef

Loved the Great Gatsby (have even been to the home where the movie was filmed), all of the Harry Potter books (Snape is my guy), I like Terry Pratchett. I like some non-fic too. Freakonomics is just amazing. I read a lot of books on forensics. My job requires me to read a lot of juvie books. Some favorite J authors/illustrators: Paul Stewart, Avi, Jane Yolen, Maurice Sendak, David Shannon, Doreen Cronin (Duck for President!), Holly Black/Tony DiTerlizzi(I loved Spiderwick long before there was a movie), and Karma Wilson (I could go on and on.) I'll read just about anything except intense horror.

I believe every life has a soundtrack. I like almost anything except rap (unless you count old Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff as rap). Big Billy Joel fan. Love that 80s music is in again. Also love Johnny Cash, Bing Crosby, Big bands, Glen Miller, Gilbert and Sullivan, Opera, Handel's Messiah, Frederic Chopin, Alicia Keyes, Sarah MacLachlan, Norah Jones, Green Day, Ben Folds Five, Nickleback, Paul Gross and David Keeley, Mammas and the Papas, Peter, Paul and Mary, Simon and Garfunkle. What can I say? Varied tastes.

White Christmas, Sense and Sensibility, Little Mermaid, Men in Black, Buckaroo Bonzai, Wallace and Gromitt, Mrs. Brown, The Great Gatsby, Braveheart, Apollo 13, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Walk the Line, Men with Brooms (Celebrate Curling is Cool Day!)

Anything with fibers or yarn. Spinning, knitting, needle point, cross stitch, needle felting, punch needle, a little beading (very little), a little polymer clay (very little). I've just gotten heavily into ATCs. These are so much fun.

Anything nutty...peanuts, hazelnuts, almonds. I like coffee more than tea. No spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.) in my coffee. Love cherry cordials. Chocolate is my best friend after coffee, or maybe before.

Blues and Greens. Also Reds and purples. Deep jewel tones or burn your eyes brights. Worst color in the world, pastel pink (good thing I had all boys!), actually, I really don't like most pastels, blues and greens are almost acceptable.
