Feb 2024 I took a long break from swapping but I'm back! Some of my interests have changed since then, ditto my crafting capabilities, so a whole new profile must be created! I can't wait to get back into swapping with you lovely people, I have such fond memories of opening delightful packages, and to this day I still use the materials I received in the swaps.

Greetings and Salutations, dear swapper!

My name is Bonnie and I hail from the great state of Ohio (picture me saying that in the most sarcastic tone imaginable). I'm 30 something years old and I live in a beautiful Tudor Revival home in a lovely tree lined neighborhood with my partner of 10 years, our big fluffball of a dog, and our two mischievous cats.

I suppose I'm what you'd call a "homemaker." I have grown into a woman who loves nothing more than to take care of her family and house: cooking, cleaning, decorating. And of course, crafting!

I'm a very curious person and I love to learn. I love coming across things that are entirely new to me. Do you ever find something out and then wonder how you ever lived your whole life without knowing it? I do that basically every day and it is amazing to me that there is still SO MUCH out there to learn! All this to say that I love unexpected surprises in my swap, so a little deviation from my interests is not a bad thing!

I am a HUGE music and concert lover. I have a pretty eclectic taste in music so it's hard to list everything here (it would go on forever).

In addition to the bands listed above, I'm really into old hits from the 50's and 60's... like Leslie Gore, Neil Sedaka, Ricky Nelson... I listen to Marilyn Monroe a lot which is a little weird. I love her movies too.

The song "Sh-boom (Life Could Be A Dream)" is particularly significant to me.

I also love the Beatles and the Doors.

Can't forget about The Smiths (i'm remembering these all in chronological order :P).

Alice in Chains is another of my favorites, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins.

Like my musical taste, my taste in movies leans way retro. I used to spend my teenage years watching TCM all night while my family slept.

Alfred Hitchcock, Billy Wilder, David Lynch and Stanley Kubrick are my favorite directors.

My favorite movie of all time is a French film called "Celine and Julie Go Boating". If you have seen it, or even know of it, we are automatically friends. I've never talked to another person who's heard of it!
