I am a wife. (i am 37) a mother of 4. a daughter. a sister. a best friend. a teacher. and in any time thats left....a creator of art!!! I have been creating something, in some form for the last 15 years. and i love how my style has evolved over the years to incorporate a more 'altered' style!

I love it all!!! From Classic Rock to Good ol R&B. Old school Alternative to the new Alternative Rock. And if i can sing to it....all the better! :) I love the old High School music still too! PRINCE!! Bauhaus, The Smiths, The Cure, Dalis Car, Waterboys, R.E.M., Morrissey, Gene Loves Jezebel, Love & Rockets!! Aahhhh, those were the days! And I also LOVE Mariachi music,I love that i can be the one in the group that can request a great Ranchera from the Trios in Restaurants!! :) Most Latin tunes, Buena Vista Social Club, Gloria, Tito, Celia! OK...anything really. A bit eclectic.

The Twilight series!!! A MUST READ!! The DaVinci Code! Anything by Victor Villasenor, Wally Lamb....to name a few. Some of my fave films are L'Auberge Espagnole, Amelie, Nowhere in Africa, Habla con Ella, Ma Vie en Rose, Four Weddings and a Funeral, The World According to Garp, Overboard, The Sandlot, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory...(70's version of course)Sex in the City!!

what started out as basic rubber stamping, has, 20 years later turned into a full fledged love affair with all things artsy! I love to make 'things', i love to collage, make altered art in various forms, i love yummy handmade paper, making books and bookbinding,journaling and recently re-discovered the fun of joining swaps!!!

I love Mexican Art/Folk Art. Images that relay the feel of Mexico. I also like Milagros and Dia de los Muertos images/and figures. I love butterflies, as they seem to cross my path often. And i just got my first tattoo of a butterfly. (it was truly on a whim!) I love vibrant colors. Purples, Oranges, Yellow, Greens, Reds....but have no problems with browns, black...etc. No prob. with Vintage items! Love vintage tablecloths! I like Glitter, wings, skeleton keys and key holes. My most fave symbol is a Fleur de Lis. And Phrase is "Carpe Diem". Or simply..Seize the Day! Love nature, trees, leaves. Travel, and foreign countries, i LOVE languages! French, Italian, Spanish, German....any! Oh, and i love the ATC's that fit on the 7Gypsy's spindle!!! FUN!!!

Hmmmm....i don't think i am in to Victorian ladies. Just doesn't do it for me. the whole look of it. I just realized that. :)

I am dying for a Blythe doll!!!! I found out about them here and have fallen in LoVe!!! And i don't normally care for dolls.......but then they are more like little girls than dolls...right? I will get one by Christmas!

You can trust that i will always do a conscientious job on your swaps! I would never send anything i wouldn't be thrilled to receive!

OK...so i have to admit....swaping on swap bot is not "MY LIFE"!! I love it. It's fun. But really....I have a real life. If someone sends their end of the swap, even if its not to my distinct liking or what i expected....i will still rate a 5 and heck even give you a heart!! I have met/come in contact with some amazing, generous, hilarious women on this site! And i thank you for that!!!
