Caught Covid-19 on Christmas Eve 2021! Now living with Long Covid.

Life has been strange and painful these last few years. In and out of hospital several times a year since 2013.

Heart attack x 2. Unstable Angina. Stents inserted.

Chronic Diverticulitis – at least two hospital admissions a year. Plus several bouts just treated at home by GP.

Chronic/Severe Osteoarthritis in hips, knees, ankles. Medics won't do hip replacement due to heart condition. I fall at least once a week – which isn't funny, even though some folks laugh when I fall.

Unstable Asthma.

Mental Health issues – Bipolar 2, OCD, Panic & Anxiety Attacks, Self-harm and suicide attempts.

Originally from Ireland but now living in "glorious"? Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in England.

I was working as a Gardener/Conservation Worker/Handyman/Forester/Farm Labourer. Now due to ill health I have had to move into another trade and I'm thinking about setting myself up in business to do freelance administration/publicity/fundraising for local charities/community groups. Currently doing archival work for couple of local associations and as a library assistant/technician at a private library. I'm also involved with the curating of photography/art exhibitions. Mental Health activist.

Currently attempting to teach myself Irish, Hebrew, Yiddish, and Latin! Also trying to play the ukulele (badly!).
