Well, our poor little post office has been having a hard time... please forgive any lateness or slowness. I have been assured the mail gods are doing what they can to sort out posting on time.

I open all of my swaps in batches with my daughter (10.) We open them as a family activity. She LOVES seeing all of your cards and art! (She also steals the stickers and extras lol)

I am a substitute teacher and loving it. It leaves me exhausted at the end of the day, but so well worth it to know I amd helping our overburdened education system and littles. :)

Loves: the color green, cultures, art, cute things, funny things, fanciful things, silly things, animals, bugs, patterns, naughty things, weird things.

Crude humor makes me laugh but I dislike blood and gore.

(I watch Walking Dead for the story and laugh at the jokes but I strongly dislike the violence and gore.)

DISLIKES: politics, racists, violence, "in" trendy things like the words "shaby chic." Poorly done artwork labeled "abstract."

OFFENSIVE: Please do NOT send me Christian or Catholic things.

ATCS:

While I appreciate all cards I receive, I prefer hand drawn / hand painted / hand colored cards. As much as I hate to be picky and mean, sticker slapped cards will receive a poor rating.

I do not care for rubber stamped images unless they are artistically painted / colored.

I appreciate any card where the maker has placed time and effort and happiness. :)

What you can expect from me as a swap partner: Every card I make is 100% hand drawn and painted. I try to make my cards before my swap partners are assigned so I can mail swaps out asap. If I should ever be late I will message my partner to let them know. (Hopefully that will never happen!)

I put 100% effort into all of my trades.

My goal is to make you smile when you receive your card. I tend to draw cute, happy, lighthearted subjects. (And often tastefully naughty. .. lol)

Please do not feel the need to tuck goodies into my package, I give hearts for things I love, things that are well done and things that make me smile, not extras. :)

I try hard to never handwrite because my handwriting is horrendous. I am very insecure about it.

I feel like handwriting is a lost art and I am trying to improve my penmanship skills.

I also can not spell. Please forgive the boo boos, chicken scratches and dipply woos. Please know your handwritten parcel is helping me learn to write better.

I also promise to never join a penpal swap for this reason lol.
