Hi everyone! I'm Anni, an university student living in Helsinki, Finland. My major is English translation. Snail mail is awesome and I hope to get all kinds of mail from all over the world :)

Music is my passion. I don't play any instruments or sing very well, but I love listening to and getting to know about all different kinds of music. My cd collection is around 450 cd's at the moment. Other things I like are:

• Chuck Palahniuk's books
• going to gigs
• equal rights
• being green
• chocolate
• salmiakki and sour candies
• all tea, especially flavoured black ones & chai
• writing postcards
• ad cards (the more unusual, the better)
• funny/weird/unusual stamps
• children's literature
• bright colours
• small towns and villages
• all kinds of mail! ♥

Belle and Sebastian, Sébastien Tellier, The xx, Justice, The Dandy Warhols, Fall Out Boy, Lights, Simon & Garfunkel, Janelle Monáe, Keane, Adam Lambert, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Smiths, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Air, Four Year Strong, Awesome New Republic, Röyksopp, Broken Social Scene, Au Revoir Simone etc.

A lot of Finnish bands, for example Risto, PMMP, Leevi and the Leavings, Regina, Egotrippi and Sydän, sydän.

I love teen pop and all sorts of music that is generally considered bad. The Eurovision Song Contest is my absolute favourite!

Tarantino movies, the Star Wars series, Lost in Translation, Juno, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Once, O'Horten, Singin' in the Rain, Tideland, High School Musical

I mostly watch British comedy these days. The Mighty Boosh is my favourite of all time! Some other series I enjoy are Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Flight of the Conchords, Six Feet Under, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, House M.D., and crime shows.
