Hello everyone, My name is Lannie but all my friends call me Freaky, due to my artwork. For some people it's easier than pronouncing Lannie. (Pronounced like Danny), but whatever you choose is fine with me. I am a new father. I am hoping that my son will love to do arts and crafts as well, but only time will tell that. He seems like a chip off the ole block with a smidgen of his mom, looks more like her and acts like me :). I love that kid.

I purchased some art supplies a while back and while doing so, just grabbed a ATC pack. Not really knowing what people used them for. Than yesterday I was reading my Disney magazine and noticed they had a section dedicated to ATC. I said wow, this looks like fun for me, and also it could become a way to bond with my son in the future. Starting a ATC collection with a variety of people is what I would like to do.So here I am. I love being in nature, going camping, attending concerts, seeing things and having fun. I am more reserved, so I won't be the one hanging out the limo roof, I will be taking the picture of the person hanging out of the roof. That's more exciting to me, photography is another passion. Not professionally, just for fun. I am teaching myself how to stencil with spray paint. Shepard Fairey is awesome.I love reading and reciting poetry. I like Ginsberg, Neruda, Giovanni and Ntozake Shange. But who doesn't? I am in a relationship and that's a whole 'nother thang! Another reason to let my artwork relieve my frustrations, smile. However, I truly know it could be worse...and that's a fact. So I thank God, for my family. With that said, I can't wait to start this journey of swapping!

Last night (8/27/11) I saw Sade, wonderful. I love Neo-Soul, Erykah Badu, Maxwell, Jill Scott, India Arie. I think R. Kelly is the man. T-Pain and Lil Wayne are some people that I admire. Jay Z and Kanye West, I don't really need to say why I like them, just get their duet album "The Throne"...my favorite cut on their is lift off, if you wanna check it out...

My music cravings run wild. But those are my favorites. I also like coffee house music, rock and reggae.

My favorite crafts are drawing and poetry. Combining the two are so fascinating to me. Sometimes I can pull that off sometimes words just throw off the whole thing. I hate when that happens. With that said, I am always looking to be inspired by other artists. My partner in life isn't as thrilled with the crafts as I, so I have taken to the internet to find others who share the same hobbies and are as thrilled as I to receive something every now and then. I enjoy bookmaking, I learned that some time ago. Learning new hobbies which aren't too difficult is like a euphoria to me.

I love art, period. I am interested in collecting a variety of ATC's domestically and internationally. My favorite color is black. I like sunrises, and I love pictures of people. The human form is something that amazes me. I like coffee and marijuana...but since I am trying to find a better paying job I have ceased to use marijuana, another reason to do more art. :)

I like anything which can be considered vintage, I feel like I should have been a child of the 60's, living in the 70's, grooving in the Haight/Ashbury. So I like all that stuff, and as time passes I will develop more of what I like and dislike, as of right now....begger's can't be choosy.
